"Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide"
Hello Corellian Premier. I'm currently expanding and improving the article on Attichitcuk ; as you can see, there has already been a lot of progress. However, I do not own Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide, and I think you do. Could you tell me if there's anything of note on Attichitcuk inside that guide? Even if there's no new info, it still would be helpful to know it. Thanks in advance. --LelalMekha (talk) 21:37, February 3, 2013 (UTC)
- No chance of snagging one for yourself, eh? 'Cause he's mentioned all throughout the guide for the training campaign (the Battle of Alaris Prime). I guess I could try to summarize things for you, okay? Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 22:37, February 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Well, if it's too laborious, I don't wish to bother you. Another possibility is that you check the portions of Itchy's article that rely on Galactic Battlegrounds and tell me if anything seems to be missing. --LelalMekha (talk) 22:41, February 3, 2013 (UTC)
Attichitcuk campaign intro
Paraphrasing: Qui-Gon has flown to Alaris Prime to teach Att and his son Chewbacca the ways of the mouse [meaning computer mouse]. There is minimal combat, but for the most part, the Att campaigns teach players how to herd banthas, build walls, and harvest minerals.
Mission 1
The player must help Chewie find Att's camp. The guide narrates the journey, and when you reach the camp, it's attacked by three Gundarks.
There is a "surprise ending"—Chewbacca, Shoran, and Att are not alone on Alaris. (The Trade Federation, of course).
Mission 2, 3
No mention
Mission 4
The guide tells the player to wait for Att, and then the TF wounds Att and wipes out his escort. The player must then train a medic and then go rescue Att. The TF then sends three destroyer droids to finish Att, so the guide suggests planting him in the command center.
As a "celebrity", if Att is killed the mission will fail.
Mission 5, 6
No mention
Mission 7
Att takes part in the festivities but the guide does not mention him.
Leia Organa campaign mission 3
As the mission begins, a transport lands nearby, leaving Att (Chewbacca's father), and a Wookiee army. The guide then narrates how to beat the mission, and cautions not to get your "celebrities" zapped.
Chewbacca campaign mission 6
Pekt and Moff Darcc fled to Avatar Orbital Platform and packed away slaves—including Chewbacca;s father. Han and Chewie must take a team into space to rescue Att and avenge Kashyyyk. The guide then goes on to narrate the mission.
Again, the guide cautions not to get your celebrities zapped.
So there you go. The guide mostly just narrates how to beat the missions, and has very little relevant background info. Do please let me know if you have any questions.
- Thank you ever so much for your time. Must admit I was hoping for exclusive background info, but that kind of guide doesn't seem too concerned about in universe information. Nonetheless, I'll use your summary to check my writing. I hope to return the favor. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:51, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
Battle of Kothlis
Hey CP, I can't see where it's been explained that the information in the article comes from an ambiguously canon source and therefore may not be canon. Info from Star Wars: Visions should go in the behind the scenes section and the {{Tl|Am}} tag needs to be reapplied to the source list. Rokkur Shen (talk) 23:58, February 8, 2013 (UTC)
- The thing is though, the information you tagged with "Ambig" actually comes from Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader—a definitively canon source. Star Wars Art: Visions just has a picture of the battle. Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 00:01, February 9, 2013 (UTC)
- Actually I didn't. If you compare the edits, http://starwars.wikia.com/index.php?title=Battle_of_Kothlis&diff=4399299&oldid=4398890, I only placed it around sentences that referenced Star Wars: Visions as well as placing the {{Tl|Am}} tag. Either they need to be moved to the BTS, reattributed to Rogue Leader it that is in fact the case or removed altogether. As well as re-adding the {{Tl|Am}} tag. Thanks. Rokkur Shen (talk) 00:20, February 9, 2013 (UTC)
- Ah okay. They are attributable to Rogue Leader, in fact. Also, do sources such as Visions get the "Ambig" tag? I thought it was only for Appearances. Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 00:23, February 9, 2013 (UTC)
- Fairly sure they do. After all, when the tag is applied it displays as (Ambiguously canonical source) Rokkur Shen (talk) 00:27, February 9, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Aftermath
Okay, the info. about Krell can stay but the other info. probably not because that is slightly off topic of the battle.--Darth Pythonis (Talk) 16:59, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Very well, thank you. Dathomir is the next battle though, but if you feel strongly about it, you can bring it up in the talk page. Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 17:07, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
Well, the layout guide states that the Aftermath section contains info. relevant to the end of a battle—so I think that the Dathomir info. is not entirely relevant to the conclusion to the battle so it should be removed, but we can keep the Krell info.--Darth Pythonis (Talk) 17:16, February 16, 2013 (UTC)

Slave camps
Hey CP. I was wondering if you could take a look at the Liberation of slave camps article, which you took to GA status a while ago. Since the recent community vote lowering the maximum GA word count from 3000 to 1000 I'm trying to get as many 1000+ word GAs to FA status and the Liberation of slave camps article is one of them. You're not under any obligation to do anything here but if you want to FAN the article it would be great. Cheers. Commander Code-8 G'day, mate 05:03, March 28, 2013 (UTC)

Episode I Racer
Hey Corellian Premier. In fact, I want to expand the article pertaining to the Order of Dai Bendu. Which means anything related to the Bendu monks would be welcome. I hereby provide you with a copy of the message I sent to Cal in the first place: "I'd like to know if you could answer a few questions about the Bendu.
- The Talid articles says that "Their monasteries and shrines were very ancient by the Rise of the Empire, and inhabited by Bendu monks." This implies that there were still Bendu monks by the time of the prequel trilogy. If it's the case, I'd be interested to know everything the game has to say about them.
- The Andobi Mountain Run mentions a "Bendu statue." Is it possible to have a picture of it? Or any information that could be provided in the game?
- I saw that you can meet a Talid called Ten-Abu Donba, who is a Bendu monk. How come you meet him in a race game? Does its appearance reveal anything of interest about the Order?"
It sure makes a lot of questions at a time, but I'm certainly not in a hurry. ;-) --LelalMekha (talk) 20:14, April 15, 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your answer. It certainly adds new interesting points to my research. :-) However, your wording implies that "Bendu" was used as a racial term in the game? Is that the case? It seems there is confusion about that, since the preview of Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void calls Lha-Mi a "Bendu male," as if it were the name of his species. --LelalMekha (talk) 17:08, April 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, sorry, no it just seems to be a social term, the Bendu Tribe. 17:11, April 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you again. Maybe one more thing: is Ten-Abu Donba ever called a Talid? Because he clearly has four arms when the Talids shwon in Dawn of the Jedi seem to have only two. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:54, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Couldn't tell you, like I said the N64 version seems to be lacking. Corellian Premier

WP:VG milestone
Good day, gamers! WookieeProject Video Games has reached a new milestone. The members of WP:VG have taken 100 articles to Comprehensive status! The 100th article was Inspector-General, from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II in-game databank. The full list of articles can be seen here. WP:VG and its members can be proud of the accomplishments we have made. As we near the two year mark of this ambitious project, we look back and see all the great progress and improvements we have made to Wookieepedia as a whole and the video game aspect of the wiki in particular. Most of these 100 articles would have probably been lost in the shuffle had it not been for the hard work, dedication, and patient perceptiveness of the users who comprise WP:VG. Out of all the current WookieeProjects, WookieeProject Video Games has the second highest amount of Comprehensive articles to its name. I would like to say good work and congratulations to all the members of WP:VG. Keep up the excellent job, and May the Force be with the Gamers!—Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 20:39, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
Galactic Battlegrounds events
Hi.
So when are you going to expand any events that occurred in Galactic Battlegrounds? I did my part with the Zaloriis campaign, but I still think it might be a work in progress. I know you did the invasion on Yavin 4 one, so whenever you are ready, just give a holler. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 03:07, June 6, 2013 (UTC)
- Actually I have no current plans to do so; I already added what I felt was sufficient. So if there's something you want to do, just jump right in. Corellian Premier

The Mechanized Assault Flyer is basically an alternate HMP
- That's what was always interpreted at least.
And where's the proof for it being considered non-canon? How do we make this determination?--Gunman6 (talk) 15:59, January 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Interpreted by whom? And they're not nearly the same thing. The MAF is piloted, the HMP isn't. And we determine anything that isn't directly part of the main storyline to be there only for gameplay purposes to be non-canon. Since it is only in multiplayer, the MAF falls into that category. Obviously it's not a perfect system. Corellian Premier

New step to archiving a CAN
Hello, since you are a member of the EduCorps, I just wanted to let you know that there is another step that should be completed when archiving a CAN due to the change in the nomination system. Here is the new addition.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 02:37, February 18, 2014 (UTC)
Re: New CA type
I think that the main reason that we don't have any OOU CAs is that the requirements for OOU article generally makes it very difficult if not impossible to keep an article under 250 words. If you want to try doing one, you can go ahead and see how things go.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 00:09, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
Star Wars Insider 77
Hi. I just noticed Star Wars Insider 77 in your collection and wondered if you could tell me what is in there about Sephjet Josall and Nicanas Tassu (the two guys who give Anakin and Obi-Wan lightsabers in Episode II). Would be great if you could help me. Clone Commander Lee Talk 00:03, March 14, 2014 (UTC)
- Sure thing. They're in the "Ask the Master" section (by Pablo), and he answers a question about who the two sword-throwers are. He identifies Tassu as the long-haired one and Josall as the baldhead. They are named after AOTC postproduction crewmembers, who play the roles, Visual Effects Editor Nic Anastassiou and Assistant Editor Joseph Jett Sally. Corellian Premier

Rookies: Day Long Remembered
No, unfortunately, it does appear that Rookies: Day Long Remembered has never been officially cancelled. I just stumbled on the Forum where they were discussing media in deep limbo like this. Based on that, I was a bit hasty in removing it, though it's not likely we'll ever get an official cancellation at this point. Tainb'ocu'chulainn (talk) 15:09, March 21, 2014 (UTC)
Rex in Yoda Chronicles game
Hey CP, would you happen to have any information on Rex's appearance in LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles video game readily available? If not, I can take a look at the game myself, but I wanted to ask you first. If not, don't worry about it. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 21:03, March 22, 2014 (UTC)
- Ooh, I know he is a selectable character in certain missions. I doubt I can get to it this weekend but I'd be happy to check which ones. Corellian Premier

- Well. I went back and checked a few of the missions, and he's not one of the main characters. That is, not a "boss" or starting character. The ones I checked were the bonus missions, the good guy Geonosis, and the last bad guy Geonosis. That leaves the good guy missions, where he would be selectable at one the build points. There are codes you can use to make the game easier. Cheers, Corellian Premier

- Thanks. So, just to review, he can be selected as a supplementary character during all of the "Light Side" missions, but he isn't required as part of any specific mission/level/storyline? Also, when you say "bonus missions," are you referring to the Space Battles missions? Or something else? CC7567 (talk) 13:33, March 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Also, are Yoda and Mace Windu the Light Side main characters? Or is there another one I'm forgetting? CC7567 (talk) 13:39, March 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry to keep drawing this question out (:P), but to my knowledge, the only level with a build point that offers Rex is the final Coruscant level in the Jedi Temple (with the player playing as Mace Windu). Would you be able to confirm if this is correct? CC7567 (talk) 14:50, March 27, 2014 (UTC)
- I do believe that Rex is only in that one build point. And yes, the space battles are what I meant, although there are ground bonus ones as well. Its the A,B,C etc. ones. And Yoda and Mace aren't the only main characters. One of the Tatooine missions starts with R2, for instance. Corellian Premier

EduCorps meeting
Hello, when you schedule an EduCorps meeting, you should message all of the EduCorps-only members to let them know when the meeting is. I'll take care of it this time, but please remember for future meetings.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 03:27, March 28, 2014 (UTC)
- Indeed. I was going to do it this weekend since for some reason I thought reminders only came on the two-week date. Corellian Premier

Disappointed
I have been continuing to notice this form of laziness for quite some time now. I am disappointed that you, Manoof, Ayrehead, and dogma failed to catch the most blatant mistakes in Lee's Roan Shryne CAN. As reviewers, it is your responsibility to thoroughly check each and every part of a CAN. Let us look at some mistakes that no one caught while giving the article a copy-edit: I am assuming that you guys are aware of the February 2012 Mofference in which we changed the infobox name procedure. All non-disambig conjectural titled articles must always have the entire title in the name parameter. So at the moment, the name parameter is completely incorrect. Next, the double brackets of the infobox box needs its space removed. It should look like |apprentices=}}. After that, "The Padawan and its master." Do you see anything wrong here? Yes, we do not know if the person is a male or female, but we also do not know if the person is asexual, as the "its" is implying here. I told Lee about this a few days ago so I am upset that he did not catch this instance here. Lastly, I would give the entire article another copy-edit, just to clear up any grammatical mistakes.
I hope you guys take what I said into consideration because, as Educorps members, you need to show a good example for newer writers and editors. If you make these little mistakes consistently, I can assure you that they will most likely pick up those bad habits. Not only that, they might appear in your writing as well. Take your time while reviewing articles, even if they are small and less than 250 words. JangFett (Talk) 14:26, March 30, 2014 (UTC)

Stoker
Hey CP, I noticed you added Stoker to the "Conjecture" individuals. Is this the correct place for the clones with nicknames? All other clones at the CA, GA and FA with nicknames are listed like the regular characters. Clone Commander Lee Talk 00:51, March 31, 2014 (UTC)
- Hmn, I thought conjecture was for nicknames as well. Forge Guardian for instance...but after asking on IRC it seems that it should be under Individuals. Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 01:42, March 31, 2014 (UTC)
- IMHO, the reason is that "Force Guardian" is a name describing him, while Stoker is a nickname the trooper adopted somehow. Clone Commander Lee Talk 10:57, March 31, 2014 (UTC)
