Thanks Master Jonathon. I hope I can get the hang of it.

Hey, I'm just clearing up some of the Clone Wars hate confusion on your board (and I am in no way reprimanding or angry with you).

First, they did sense the evil around Anakin and knew he was a little unstable in his resolve against things like attachment, but at the time he was given Ahsoka to teach, he had shown no tendencies that were against the jedi code as far as the masters knew, and was specifically given to him to teach him responsibility.

Second, as for the reason why the mandalorians showed up during the Clone Wars can only be explained by the fact that George Lucas and Dave Filoni decided they wanted some mandalorians. And they were also NOT a secretive group, they are very open about things like taking over half of the galaxy, enslaving all in the way, and going all Hitler on the Cathar's -----.

Now where is the button for those darn squigglies..... Oh, there it is. Rac'Ta Krule 02:37, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Your upload

  • Not only did you fail to follow every single rule for uploading an image on Wookieepedia, but you image is also a duplicate of File:Cal alder.jpg. Therefore, it has been set for deletion. In case you didn't know, you can define the dimensions of an image simply by adding a pixel size, like so: 250px. OLIOSTER (talk) 21:35, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
    • If a picture is already on the site then there is no need to upload it again. Just use the one that's already uploaded. If you're unsure how, please read the guide to image use. Thanks.--Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 21:46, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Your new article creations

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:41, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

  • Hello, please be aware that all new article creations must have a proper category added to them, per Wookieepedia article policy. I notice this is something you routinely neglect to add in your new article creations. Please remember to include them in your creations. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:48, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

Solo Safe House

Please verify Your article Solo Safe House currently isn't attributed to a reliable source. Please familiarize yourself with Wookieepedia's Sourcing policy and guidelines and add a proper source to the article. If a source is not added within one week, your article will be deleted. 1358 (Talk) 20:42, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

Sources section

Hey Cal! Please note that novels do not go into the "Sources" section of articles. Imperators II 17:07, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Unidentified cam operator (Javis Tyrr)

Hey Cal Jedi, I'm curious to know why you removed Unidentified cam operator (Javis Tyrr) from Fate of the Jedi: Allies's appearances, and also redirected the page to Javis Tyrr? Javis Tyrr's cam operator was a specifically mentioned, legitimate character. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 14:41, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

  • Ah, I see. Yeah, the additions in parentheses in article titles are made to identify the subject matter with a certain individual, thing, or event, because there are otherwise several individuals, things, or events with which the subject could be confused. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:17, March 25, 2011 (UTC)
    • I would assume that that's because we just haven't added every single article from the CSWE yet. I don't have the CSWE myself, so I can't look any further into this. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 14:42, March 29, 2011 (UTC)

Naming conventions

Hey Cal! I suggest you take a thorough look at Wookieepedia:Naming policy, considering that you recently tried to create an article called "Commander Fil" (not to mention your little misunderstanding of the Allies camera guy... ;) ). Cheers! Imperators II(Talk) 17:04, March 25, 2011 (UTC)

Tedonian wine

Hey Cal! Feel free to remove the "CatNeeded" template when you've added relevant categories. Do note, however, that the category "Wines" is a subcategory of the categories "Alcoholic beverages" and eventually "Liquids", so the latter two were unnecessary. Oya, ner'vod! Imperators II(Talk) 20:54, April 7, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Terror Walker

Users aren't likely to type in "Unidentified giant droid" when searching for the Terror Walker. Therefore, it was unnecessary to have such a redirect. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 17:14, April 25, 2011 (UTC)

Spelling Grammar Manuel of Style

I recently placed cleanup tags on many of your recently created article please check your spelling grammar and make sure the article complies with the Manuel of Style before creating articles or making major edits. GTQ 03:01, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

RE:Spelling Grammar Manuel of Style

first time the character is mentioned the name was not bolded which it must use this to bold things. Also, don't be afraid to use pronouns like use he or she which ever gender they are in stead of this nurse. Also, on the Skirmish at Yinta Lake don't say a short but intense battle was fought the skirmish at Yinta lake. say The skirmish at Yinta lake was a short but intense battle also add the | battle info box. Also just as a general things like a mentioned before check your spelling and grammar closely before making edits to articles. GTQ(Problems?) 01:54, May 9, 2011 (UTC)

Also consult the manuel of style GTQ(Problems?) 02:54, May 9, 2011 (UTC)

By the way I gave you a little help with Unidentified nurse. Also you should consult others before doing this but maybe move Unidentified nurse to a more descriptive title like Unidentified Nurse (Sacking of Courscant.)GTQ(Problems?) 01:32, May 10, 2011 (UTC)

Expand

Hey Cal. Just wanted to note that the Offices of the Imperial Head of State article needs serious expansion if it is to be a status article. With that comment about the quote I meant that the information contained in the quote (i.e., that Jaina once burst into his office, that Jag preferred the visitors to announce themselves, etc.) must be incorporated in the article. Imperators II(Talk) 16:06, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

  • A strong yes regarding the expansion of the History section and others. As for other improvements, I'd suggest you look at other Comprehensive articles (the Location ones) to see what a CA should look like. As for Coruscant—Axinal actually commented that it should be noted what Coruscant is—which basically means that you have to provide context for all the names that appear in the article (e.g., that Coruscant is a planet). I'll list other objections on the nomination page. Imperators II(Talk) 16:34, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
    • OK, I guess the referencing isn't mandatory in the article (you should still read about it, though, 'cause you'll need it eventually). By the way, have you checked the previous FotJ novels for any indirect mentions of the office? Perhaps it's mentioned as "Jag's office" or "his office" or something like that? Imperators II(Talk) 17:48, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
      • OK, if there are no indirect references to the office, then Allies must truly be the only appearance. Sometimes things are just indirectly mentioned in a work and then fully named/identified in a later work. Imperators II(Talk) 18:12, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Thanks

No problem, Cal, keep up the good work. I might add the fact that Allies was written by Christie Golden in the BTS; other than that, it's a very nice article, so I would just wait for others to vote. Cheers!—Axinal Convocation Chamber 22:47, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Redirects

Hi! I noticed that you had some trouble with redirect links during your recent CAN, but there's a handy way of simplifying that. You only need to create you own .css page (Special:MyPage/wikia.css or Special:MyPage/monobook.css, depending on the skin you use), and paste "a.mw-redirect {color:darkorange}" into it. It is a trick I learned from Axinal, who got to know about it from Xd1358 and Master Fredcerique.—TK-999 20px(Rise of the Empire) 13:11, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

  • Oh, you won't need the quotation marks. If you need some help, take a look at mine. Happy editing!—TK-999 20px(Rise of the Empire) 13:18, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
    • If you go to the page, you'll notice instructions at its top, describing the way to empty your browser's cache. Then, just try going to a page with lots of redirects (Deep Core, for example), and see the difference!—TK-999 20px(Rise of the Empire) 13:23, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Comprehesive article voting

Hey, I just wanted to say that you need to increment your vote manually when you vote on a comprehensive article nomination, it will not do it for you. I took care of it for you this time. Thank you and good day.--Exiled Jedi 20px (Greetings) 13:45, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

hi cal jedi i love the quote of the day. its my username

hi cal jedi, if you get this message then it means it went through, dont you just love the quote of the day its my username

You increment the vote by editing the nomination and changing the tally of votes (for example (0 EC/0 Users/0 Total)) to include your vote. Since you are a normal user, the incremented count for the example should look like (0 EC/1 Users/1 Total). I hope this helps.--Exiled Jedi 20px (Greetings) 21:16, June 3, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Thanks for your help

No problem. :) I'm not aware of any strict rule for such capitalization in piped links (for using male instead of male), I think we just do it as a matter of being as crisp and clean as possible at all times; it's more professional. Also of note, though, is that if you're linking to a term that shouldn't be capitalized, and it's a term that you wouldn't otherwise have to pipelink, then you should just leave it uncapitalized instead of turning it into a capitalized pipelink: for example, you should use assassin or assassination, but not assassin or assassination. Make sense? Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 23:59, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

Hey Cal, I've never done it myself, but I did leave a link to the instructions on the nomination page. Instructions are here.—Axinal Convocation Chamber 21:28, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

Well Dagobah is obvious isn't it, it was located in the Sluis Sector which joined the CIS. But other planets? You mean which I recently editted, well that are also planets located within Separatist Space or either afflaited to the faction.--Lars Oebeles 20:17, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

  • Yes I understand, I always try to see if there is some information that could make the planet afflaited to a faction. But for serval years, 2-3 or something, I made a list of Separatist planets, I number 400 planets, while the list on Wookieepedia only have 258. So that is why I edited all those pages. I will do my best to get every planet on that list. --Lars Oebeles 20:30, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Cite web

I believe the brackets around the url are unnecessary, as Cite web does the linking itself. That should solve the problem. CC7567 (talk) 00:57, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

  • No, it looks fine; that's usually what it's supposed to look like. I would just suggest filling in the "year" and "month" (of the forum posts) and the "publisher" (TheForce.Net), and you should be fine. CC7567 (talk) 01:09, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

RE: vandalism and protection

I have no idea about protecting an article. You'd probably need to talk to an administrator about the protocol/requirements about doing that. <- Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 17:36, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Protection

Only administrators can protect or semi-protect articles. As far as The Force Unleashed article goes, the IP really wasn't vandalizing; now that I've warned him, there should be no need to protect the article (though I will if the need arises). In the future, though, you can request protection for articles by using this page. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 17:42, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Why was my edit reverted when it was source?-I'm the Chosen OneYou must see it... 22:39, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

  • There were two parts to that edit...the intro with no source and the re-release section with a source/citation. Look at it and you will see.-I'm the Chosen OneYou must see it... 22:48, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

By the way I know how to do things. I can source and I mistakenly forgot one word....so I don't see how that was "frankly, awful". Starwars.com is as reliable a source as there is.-I'm the Chosen OneYou must see it... 22:51, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

  • I didn't say I knew everything, but you worded your response terribly. It sounded like you were treating me like an idiot. Also, reverting is not what you are supposed to do in that situation. You are supposed to fix the information if it was sourced. I am also aware that Blu-ray is different from DVD, THAT was a mistake by me.-I'm the Chosen OneYou must see it... 23:00, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Yessss!

The new Clone Wars Series suck! I don't like the way it is inaccurate to the film canon. What's your reason? Oh, and by the way, I like the old clone wars animation though, do you?

  • Another one for the anti-Clone Wars show army. They just have to try to mess everything up, although, I should have known better when they announced Ahsoka back in the day.-I'm the Chosen OneYou must see it... 02:50, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

...and thinking about the mandos and I was wondering do you got battlefront 2, PC version? Anakin Skyobiliviator 03:21, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

Mod

Oya! I tell you what, I know a Battlefront 2 PC mod that makes a new era that have the mandos fighting deathwatch! Do you want the link? By the way, here is the description and readme:

Description:

The Mandalorian Wars Project, by Commander Fett, is a large sides mod for SWBF2 set during the... Mandalorian Wars, of course.

The two new factions are the Mandalorians and the Death Watch and they duke it out on all the stock maps fighting for... something, with jetpacks and nearly-identical weapons.

The sides are of course the entirety of the mod (being a "sides mod" and all). They're a well-put-together set of (as mentioned above) nearly-identical sides - the Mandalorians match tit-for-tat the weapons of the Death Watch, with the exception of hero weapons, which do differ from each other. The weapons setups feel very similar to stock sides, with the addition of a few higher-unlock classes, like a melee class or a commander class.

The sides are the same from map-to-map for the most part; the one noticeable difference is that on the outdoor maps, both sides have jetpacks on every unit, which can change the way you might play a bit. I was a little disappointed to not see jetpacks on some of the indoor maps, though - perhaps the author found that the AI did not behave well?

Anyway, there were some issues I took with the setup of the sides - the biggest problem I had was appearance. While a nice job is done with the textures for both teams, they both use (essentially, with only a minor helmet difference) the same model for every unit. As you can imagine, this gets very confusing. An example:

There are about equal number of each team's units. Can you tell who's on whose team? I had a hard time unless someone was actively in my reticule.

The other concern I had was the melee class for either side - it's simply far too powerful. It's better than the heroes, has a cloak that stays up for a very long time, and does as much damage with melee (as well as the knockdown) as does a Jedi. With the bonus energy regen from the "endurance" award, you can keep the cloak up for the whole map and just never die. The only threat to you is the similarly undetectable and powerful melee units on the other team. The problem is compounded by the fact that it (along with everyone else) gets a jetpack outside. It just has too much going on to be balanced.

Anywho, I'm sure there are several people who will be interested in fighting with an army of Boba Fetts running around Battlefront 2 - so if it looks interesting, give it a download!

-Mav

Readme:

I, Commander_Fett, worked hard on this mod, so don't go trying to steal my work. So, don't try to claim it as your own, distibute it, sell it, or use stuff from this mod without my permission.

////////////////Mandalorian Wars Project By Commander_Fett

Mandalorian Civil War Background: When Jaster Mereel came to power among the Mandalorians, he changed the way Mandalorian society worked. He drafted a guideline for Mandalorian behavior, hoping to purge the old savage, dishonorable raider and mercenary ways. However, some opposed these reforms, and wanted to continue with the old ways and eventually once again try to conquer the galaxy. So, they split from the Mandalorians, and created the Deathwatch, lead by Vizsla. They waged war on the Mandalorians, and the Mandalorian Civil War began.

Plans for this project: This will be a project that adds the Mandalorian Wars era to all stock maps, and will also add many new maps that follow the Mandalorian Civil War and Mandalorian Wars as canonically as possible while still making the maps enjoyable.

Instalation: double click the .exe, and install to the C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Battlefront IIGameDataaddon directory. If you don't have an addon folder, create it.

So if you want the link, tell me. (I haven't tried it because my computer memory is too low..:(, but I heard its good stuff!) Anakin Skyobiliviator 04:49, July 11, 2011 (UTC)
