Vimdin FF number
Sorry to keep bothering you, but do you know what number issue Bom Vimdim's FF entry was in? Thanks, -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 16:56, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Atrivis sector
Borsk, could you check the facts files for mention of Atrivis sector? It may be under "Creation of the First Death Star" or perhaps "Rebel Campaign against the Death Star" or finally perhaps "Outer Rim Worlds." I'm aware this is a vague request, but any help would be appreciated. --Eyrezer 05:07, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- I checked the said pages, but didn't find anything. No mention of the sector at all. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 11:19, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

- This might seem an odd request. In the FF there is an article on Interplanetary migration. I was wondering if you could tell me what section it is in as well as the page code? (ie Events, locations etc) I know it is in FF 86. --Eyrezer 00:33, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's a "Locations"-article, the page code is MIG 1+2. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 13:11, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Battle of Hoth
Hey again, Borsk. I'm currently working on completely revamping Battle of Hoth and hopefully eventually bringing it to FA status. I was hoping you could go through the article's appearances and source lists and see if you notice anything missing, and if so, please feel free to add them! Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:12, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

R-3PO/K-3PO
Hey, Borsk. I happened upon a little CCG anomaly. Hoth Limited apparently produced two cards with the same image, but assigned them different characters. We have this card of R-3PO, which has an image identical to this K-3PO card. Of course, this droid is indeed K-3PO in this image. The other R-3PO card can be found here. I was wondering if you knew if this "alternate" R-3PO was card on that Decipher page anywhere. Ideally, I would like to add this similar template to R-3PO's page's source list:
Star Wars Customizable Card Game — Hoth Limited Card: K-3PO (backup link) Toprawa and Ralltiir 15:36, 17 May 2008 (UTC)- I went through the complete CCG archive at decipher.com twice, adding all the cards to our articles. This erroneous R-3PO card is not on the page. I think it should suffice to just put the image of the differing card into the BtS. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 15:56, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, that should be all right. Thanks for checking. Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:02, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Hey...
Hi, thanks for your help on Pilot and Helina Dow, but what makes you think that Helina was from the rise of the empire era and died in 39 BBY, I was under the impresion she was alive around the clone wars, cheers RC-1136 19:20, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- I can tell you one thing, I can be a idoit, I thought the rise of the empire era was after the Battle of yavin, sorry about that, also thanks for fixing Helina's Species RC-1136 19:26, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oops, you're right. I totally forgot the timeline placement of that part of the story. I knew she died in the book and just copied Pilot's death date without using my brain. I have now corrected the date. :) --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 19:30, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Battle of Nadiem
Hey Borsk, I noticed you add The New Essential Chronology as a source for Battle of Nadiem, however I wasn't able to find mentioning about that anywhere in the book. Can you give me page number where is it written? Thank you.--Jedi Marty 12:05, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, it's on page 75 in the Target: Grievous chapter. "On Vantos, Nadiem, and dozens of other worlds, Grievous slaughtered clone troopers and civilians alike, collecting lightsaber trophies from the Jedi Knights whom he beheaded." --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 12:18, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Fordo
Hey. Are you sure that Fordo isn't in Chapter 11? I thought that the ARC captain with Kenobi in that episode, voiced by André Sogliuzzo the same voice for Fordo, was Fordo? It's been a while since I watched the episodes, so I thought I'd ask you. Greyman@wikia(Talk) 12:55, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- There is only one ARC trooper in Chapter 11 and he is dressed in blue and carries a WESTAR-M5. Fordo is nowhere to be seen. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 13:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Darth Kruhl Article
Please, stop editing the Darth Kruhl article. We do not know if it is him in the lab. 71.106.15.178 05:16, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Of course it's Kruhl. You just need to compare the images of Kruhl in Trust Issues with the "Kruhl on Munto Codru"-image we have in our article. It's the same person. Trust Issues and Ready to die were also done by the same artist. Colin Wilson gave Kruhl a small cameo in TI before he was featured in Rtd. In both stories, Kruhl served as a subordinate to Lady Maladi. I'll add his first appearance back to the article. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 08:50, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Is their proof for this? I believe that it is Kruhl, but we need proof.71.106.15.178 02:39, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- All the things I pointed up above are proof enough for me and -judging from the edit history- for other Wookieepedians as well. As you seem to be the only person who has any doubts about this, I suggest you write a mail to Mr. Wilson and ask him for confirmation or denial. I don't see any other way to get you the proof you want. Until then, we'll stick to visual proof and logic, and leave the article as it is. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 12:34, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Hey Borsk, would you be able to post the bios for Daine Jir from Behind the Magic and the Official Star Wars Fact File for me? Also, do you know if Solomahal has a Btm/FF bio? Many thanks, -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 21:30, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- I searched the Fact File and BtM for information about Solomahal, but found nothing. Here's Daine Jir's BtM info:
- Commander Daine Jir. A bold and outspoken Imperial leader. He was known to train his troops using constant crisis simulations. In contrast to most other Imperial officers, he didn't fear Vader and bluntly called his decisions into question. His fate remains unknown.
- Jir doesn't have an entry in the Fact File, he's only briefly mentioned in the Tantive IV-Boarding-Scene summary under Events. Nothing here that's not in the movie. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 23:43, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Hey, Borsk. I was wondering if you would be at all able to upload the Executor FFs, if you have them. Many thanks! :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:01, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Do you also know what FF issue numbers to attribute these to, and perhaps any others the Executor may appear in, i.e. Firmus Piett's pages, for example? Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:55, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

- I thought I would put in another search-and-find request while we're at it. ;) I'm working on K-3PO as well, and apparently he doesn't have any sort of individual entry or anything, but is mentioned somewhere along the line. Do you know what number he appears in? Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:01, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- K-3PO has a very short entry in Fact File 12. It's a page about the personnel of Echo Base:
- The protocol droid K-3PO was called an officious dullard by C-3PO. In reality, the unique personality of the white 3PO unit grew with its duties. Its original owner, Renegade Flight Commander Narra, gave it many responsibilities and saved tactics, plans and mission simulations in the droid's databanks. When Narra recommended K-3PO to the Alliance, the Rebels made use of the droid's analytical skills and its organizational expertise. K-3PO coordinated the activities of all of Echo Base's droids until he was destroyed in the Battle of Hoth. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 19:36, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Hello. Would you mind explaining why you reverted to the older version of File:SwokesSwokesOnASchingaShikou.jpg? I had uploaded a version that cleaned up all the artifacts from the book like tan borders and whatnot. Thanks, SavageBob 04:04, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- The older version of the image was of higher resolution. If you compare the images, you will also note that it was much cleaner and overall sharper than your version and had better colors. I cropped out the border at the top and a large part of the left border. I hope it looks better now. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 08:27, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Interwiki links
I generally order them alphabetically by how they are displayed, not by the 2 letter language code. So, even though fi (Finnish) is alphabetically before nl (Dutch), they display as Suomi and Nederlands. So, I generally put Finnish last, unless there's a Swedish link. It's not an official policy, but it's the way I've always done it. -LtNOWIS 15:47, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
TFU book
Hey Borsk is the TFU book out? Its not out in America but I'm assuming it is in Germany. Is Jacob Nion his real name? Who are Drexl Roosh, Jimayne, Britt, and youngster. And what is with all these puppets? I eagerly await your reply. Thanks. The Secret Apprentice 20px (Personal Comm) 22:55, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, it's already out for a couple of days here in Germany. Jacob Nion is the secret aprrentice's real name, Drexl Roosh is a Rodian scavenger on Raxus Prime, Jimayne is some Imperial guy who's only mentioned in passing, Britt is a stormtrooper who gets mindtricked by Jacob on Kashyyyk and "Youngster" is a TIE pilot in Black Squadron who served with Juno Eclipse. Jacob crushes his fighter into a building on Kashyyyk by using the Force. The puppets: Kazdan Paratus built a Jedi Temple out of junk on Raxus Prime and made puppets of all the Jedi councilors for the Council Chamber. They are all armed with vibro-axes and other weapons. Paratus then moves them against Nion in their duel. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 23:26, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for the info. I'm assuming he becomes a Jedi right? Is Aayla in the story? Does Juno live? Is there a Nion jr? Or a possibility? When does Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Maul appear in holos? How close is the Vader/Nion fight? Does Nion win but refuse to kill Vader or is his ass beaten in? Does Nion fight Palpatine or does the Emperor just zap him to death? I am sorry about the overwhelming number of questions, but I appreciate any effort made to answer them. O btw I changed my sig. Like it? Jacob Nion 20px (Personal Comm) 00:01, 23 July 2008 (UTC) Thanks alot!
- No, he doesn't become a Jedi. Aayla is not the story, not even mentioned. Juno Eclipse survives and joins the Rebel Alliance. There's no Nion jr. and no possibility there'll ever be one. Maul/Obi/Qui-Gon appearances: PROXY is a holodroid and covers himself in a hologram of famous Jedi and Sith individuals during his lightsaber training duels with Nion. Nion vs Vader: Nion and Vader engage in a lightsaber duel on the Death Star, when Vader reveals to his former apprentice that he only needed him to get the Rebels and never really planned to overthrow the Emperor. Nion then lifts Vader up into the air and throws all kinds of things at him until his armor is almost completely destroyed. With Vader defeated, Nion grabs the Emperor and tries to kill him, and thereby buy the Rebel leaders (Organa/Mothma/Bel Iblis) enough time to escape from the station. Palpatine uses his Force lightning against Nion who first resists the attack, but then slowly begins to burn from the inside. The walls and the ceiling collaps...bla bla bla...the usual stuff...the Rebels escape and Nion is dead. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 00:39, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Wow. Just wow. Thanks a lot. I appreciate this. So he is like Ulic Qel-Droma? Not a Jedi but a "good" force user? I'm just surprised that Vader only used Jacob to get to the Rebels. I doubt this. Wholeheartedly. In other sources like the comic Dark Times, in the last Dark Times Vector issue it placed Vader looking for an apprentice to help him kill Palpatine. I personnally believe that Vader only said that to hide his own weakness of attachment to Jacob from Jacob, Palpatine, and himself. But that is just my pet theory. :P What do you think? Thanks. Starkiller/Jacob
Hi, Borsk. I've heard in rumors that Starkiller only finds his true name on Kashyyyk. Is this true in the TFU novel? Drewton 20px (Drewton's Holocron) 23:19, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, he visits his old home on Kashyyyk and has a vision of the invasion and the death of his father, basically the intro of the game. His father then appears to him in this vision and addresses him as Jacob. His last name is first given by Bail Organa in the novel's epilogue. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 23:30, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

I thought the same, until I attempted to start a page for T'doshok; from Trandoshan - "Trandoshans (T'doshok in their language) were large, bipedal reptilian humanoids from the planet Trandosha (or Dosha)." Emphasis mine.
While it's still possible he's called T'doshok, I think what he's saying here (in extremely stilted basic) is "Trandoshan no surrender!". It makes more sense than having a Trandoshan who is, in fact, called "Trandoshan".

- For details concerning Jacob and Juno, please check my responses to Jacob Nion above. Maris Brood is last seen fleeing into the Felucian jungle after her lightsaber fight with Jacob, wherein she's is redeemed. Shaak Ti dies the way it's written in her article. Kota survives until the end and joins the Rebels. He is last seen on Kashyyyk when Bail Organa announces the foundation of the Alliance. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 10:52, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm in a terrible :) trouble. I can't find how to find a list of images in Wookiee. It's a very long time I didn't search for it for a long time and in the past I used to find them simply writing "Gallery of..." and the name of the things I looked for, but now it seems things are more different.
I'm asking for an help, cause at the time I'm not able to find any gallery or list of images on the Wookieepedia.
Thanks a lot darthwelia 15:40, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- We decided to delete the galleries and started to categorize our images. Please check our image categories for the subject you're looking for. Category:Images by subject is a good starting point. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 20:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
dates of clone wars film
hey, the year on battle of christophsis, teth, and tatooine are wrong. I've been trying to change it but someone always changes it back. these events have to take place in late 20 BBY because Anakin is a Knight not a padawan thats how he can take on an apprentice. if you go by 22 BBY it creates a time paradox —Unsigned comment by 70.65.131.103 (talk • contribs)
Could someone please help me set up a main userpage?
Could someone please help me set up a main userpage? I have no idea how to create one; the only HTML I know is typing internet addresses. If anyone could help, could he or she please post a message in my page's talk section? Thanks. LadyVader 16:10, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Take a look at Wookieepedia:Editing FAQ and Help:Editing. There you'll find everything you need to know to create a page. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 16:27, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, Borsk :) I think there's a problem with the site, though. I created an infobox and got it perfect, but when I signed out and signed in again, it just showed the text I'd typed on the page and the infobox around it was gone. How do you get an infobox to stay on your page? LadyVader 00:19, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Just paste the infobox code on this page into your userpage. For more templates and userboxes check out this page. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 08:28, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've made the infobox twice by copying and pasting the code and it looks great at first, but as soon as I sign out and sign back in, all I see is the text. Do you have to use some additional code or something to lock the infobox onto the page? LadyVader 13:44, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Looks like you missed the top and the bottom of the infobox when you copied it. I'll fix it for you. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 15:03, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Spoilers warning Template
Hi. I have a request for you, because I have no idea which template is responsible for the spoiler warning at the very top of the Wookieepedia. re: Btw: Can you provide a canonical source that identifies the guy in Dex's Diner as Fligh? --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 15:08, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi Borsk,
The best evidence I have is when working on Star Wars they told me my charater name and I remember it starting with an 'F' Fligh sounds right so I did a little research on the character from the novels suggested here. They told me on the set that I was supposed to look very cautious about the jedi and that I was a theif/ bounty hunter of some kind. I was also told that I was human and from Coruscant. Recently I heard that there were novels with my character from the stunt people I know in Star Wars who aparently heard it from one of the writers at a convention who picked my characters name out of a list of names for one of her "minor subjects" in her novel, so I had to find out. 8 Years after filming it seems like they have found a place for me in the Star Wars universe.
Which for me is pretty cool considering the fact they were planning to release a star wars figure of me and never did :P
There are some other things I can give you but only via email.
For now I can give you my costume number 391 - I only remember that because it spells out CIA.
Cheers,
Matt.

Griff and the Executor
Heya, Borsk. I have some concerns I couldn't find answers to on the Wook as I progress through writing the Executor article. You're the man I come to with these things, so I'm hoping you can shed some light. :P First, I can't seem to find what source actually identified Amise Griff as "Amise." I'm guessing it's either in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Second Edition, Revised and Expanded, Rebellion Era Sourcebook, or Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds, as I have neither of these sources. Would you be able to check through any or all of these for this information? And secondly, I'm guessing that if Griff is in these sources, the Executor must be as well. If you do have any of these, I would greatly appreciate it if you could also check for any Executor mention so I can add them to the Source list. Thanks! Vrad Dodonna/Fifth Battle of Yavin 4
I seek your counsel once again, Borsk. :) Our Fifth Battle of Yavin 4 article treats Vrad Dodonna and Luke Skywalker's attack on the Executor with the power gem as part of that battle. Do you believe this is the best way to handle it, or should the power gem mission be treated as its own battle and thus be given its own article? Toprawa and Ralltiir 05:12, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'd treat every skirmish/mission/attack that happened before the arrival of the Executor at Yavin as a separate battle and would give them their own articles. You could call it the "Second Attack on the Executor" or something. There's only one article where it'd be acceptable to include this mission, the "Blockade of Yavin" article, but it really doesn't belong to the Fifth Battle. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 15:33, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I do agree. I was initially troubled when I discovered that the power gem attack doesn't even take place in the Yavin system. :/ Toprawa and Ralltiir 15:49, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm, new problem, same situation. Does the Executor ever really participate in the Fifth Battle of Yavin 4? If we assume that the Second Attack doesn't occur in the Yavin system, then the Executor proceeds immediately to head off the Rebel fleet escaping through the corridor near the unstable sun, thus never truly reaching Yavin 4. I would say no participation, just that it participates in the Blockade of Yavin, but what's confusing me is the NEC, which states "the mighty Executor arrived to decimate the Yavin base" (p. 115, assuming we have the same version). Perhaps we can just take the NEC blurb to mean it arrived close enough to be headed off by Vrad Dodonna and the power gem. Thoughts? Toprawa and Ralltiir 03:22, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with all the source material covering the Fifth Battle. I don't know what new information Imperial Spy, Galactic Battlegrounds or Battlefront add to the events from the Classic Star Wars comics. I could imagine, however, that the Executor headed to Yavin after the escape of the Rebels to pick up captives like Jan Dodonna. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 13:14, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Trouble uploading images
Hi, Borsk. I'm having problems uploading images for some reason. I filled out all the licensing deatails and such, but when I go to click the upload button the source filename box blanks itself, so there's nothing there to upload. And yes there was something there to begin with, but whenever I click the button it dissapears. I don't suppose you know what could be causing this do you? If so your help would be really appreciated. If not don't worry, cheers. Jayce Carver 09:36, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
- I know what you mean, this sometimes happens to me, too, when I want to upload a new image. It doesn't occur very often, maybe one time out of twenty. I have no idea what causes it, just try it over and over again. It usually worked the second or third time I tried it. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 15:42, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Chronology problems (Classic Star Wars Comics timeline incosistencies with G Canon Star Wars movies)
Hi Borsk,
I have a question regarding Classic Star Wars. But I should explain it first.
Wookiepedia states that Classic Star Wars issues 16 to 20 are dated to 3ABY. But if you read the issue 16 you see that it takes place right after the issue 15 and issue 17 takes place right after the issue 16. There is no break between adventures!
Also Admiral Griff dies when rebels escape the Yavin Blockade in 6 months ABY. This is depicted in issue 17 I believe. Admiral's death date is confirmed by Wookiepedia.
Wookiepedia entries of Hoth, Yavin and Echo Base confirm that rebels escaped Yavin 6 monhts after Battle of Yavin. The entries indicate that Echo Base first established in 1 ABY and construction took 1 year, completing in 2 ABY. Echo Base was destroyed at Episode V, which took place in 3 ABY. Also according to the time line of comics entries, Splinter of the Mind's Eye took place in 2 ABY which is AFTER Classic Star Wars comics.
Based on the evidence found in Wookipedia I would humbly ask you to edit Classic Star Wars individual issue entries, collection entries and the death of Skorr and S'byll entries as 0,5 ABY.
Frankly Classic Star Wars is talking about the first establishment of the Echo Base which takes place only a short time after the escape from Yavin Blockade (0.5 ABY). Since the establishment of Echo Base (1 ABY according to the Wookiepedia and 0.5 ABY according to the Classic Star Wars as far as I can read the pages) cannot take place after the destruction of the base (3 ABY) events of the issues 16-20 cannot take place in 3 ABY.
I am not sure if you have an alternative explanation for the exact time line for the events between 0-3 ABY but Wookiepedia's own articles clearly state that the Classic Star Wars series of Archie Goodwin take place between the Battle of Yavin (destruction of 1st Death Star) and the establishment of the Echo Base.
I tried to edit the pages but you reverted them back. I understand your position as a senior Wookiepedian and administrator so this time I ask of your opinion. As an editor of 50.000 entries please inform me because this time line issue really confuses me. Especially I wonder on which basis Wookipedia dates Classic Star Wars issues 16-20 to 3 ABY.
Thank you,
Kozand 18:49, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
Talay
Hey, Borsk. I saw you changed the date of the Battle of Talay from about 0.5 ABY to c. 1 ABY. This concerns me only because I'm trying to piece together the Executor's history. I had originally placed the Talay demonstration at around 0.5 ABY, in between the events following the Rebels' evacuation from Yavin 4 and the novel Allegiance. Trying to figure out when exactly this battle takes place, I worked off the following bits of information:
- Dark Forces describes the battle as being retribution for the Death Star's destruction
- The Rebellion Era Sourcebook on pg. 104 describes Rom Mohc as getting the go-ahead to move forward with his project (after Talay) "in the wake of the destruction of the Death Star"
- The dark trooper Databank entry says, "The dark troopers were first unleashed shortly after the Battle of Yavin"
EDIT: *To throw one more piece of evidence into the fire, the WOTC article Kyle Katarn's Tale, Mission 3 states, "Soon after the battle station's destruction at Yavin, Mon Mothma tapped Kyle to investigate the devastation of a Rebel base on Talay at the hands of a powerful, heretofore-unknown Imperial force. Kyle followed hints of the Empire's Dark Trooper Project to Anoat and from there to Fest in the Atrivis sector" Of course, these descriptions could just as easily mean near 1 ABY as it could mean 0.5 ABY, though I'm inclined to go with the latter in the strictest sense of these meanings. But, it should be taken into consideration the following two sources as well:
- The New Essential Guide to Characters explains Katarn going after the Dark Trooper Project, following "the trail from a bombed-out Rebel outpost on Talay to Mohc's ship Arc Hammer" as taking place "months after the evacuation of Yavin 4."
- Fact File 19, pg "VAD9", explains that Vader oversaw "the dark trooper project...roughly a year after the Battle of Yavin."
I'm also inclined to take these previous two to mean that much of the bulk of the DT Project (and the game) as taking place around 1 ABY, which, of course it's safe to say that it does. The question arising then seems to be how long of a time takes place between Talay and Katarn's investigation of the massacre, if we're to assume that the investigation takes place about 1 ABY. I had been thinking that the Talay demonstration would take place not too long after the Death Star's destruction - 0.5 ABY - and then the rest of the game takes place later, c. 1 ABY. Sorry if this is a bit overloaded here. I was hoping to get your thoughts on all of this in my effort to place this correctly within the article. Toprawa and Ralltiir 17:53, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- Or, perhaps, we can take this all to mean that the assault and investigation of Talay both take place around 0.5 ABY, and Katarn's subsequent investigation into the entire project takes place months later? Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:13, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't have much time right now, so I'll just give you my approach to the dating of the Battle of Talay in short words: First of all, I'd be careful with all these vague "shortly after Yavin" or "wake of the DS destruction" mentions. I've found them in numerous sources about Luke's duel with Darth Vader on Mimban, although this event is officially set in 2 ABY. The presence of the Executor at Talay places the battle at least six months after Episode IV and that really isn't "just after it". In Dark Forces, Mon Mothma tells Kyle Katarn that the destruction of Tak Base happened 5 days before she sent him there to investigate, so the battle and Kyle's mission don't have much space in between. But most important for the dating is this: At that time, Crix Madine was already planning to defect to the Alliance and provided them with vital information about the dark troopers. Madine's change of mind didn't come until an incident on Dentaal, though, during which the Candorian plague killed billions of Dentaalians. The GalacticNews Net gives the date for this incident as 36:2 (1:2 ABY). So logically, the Battle of Talay has to be set sometime after this. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 13:50, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- I like your reasoning Borsk. Can I suggest that we add a note to the Battle of Talay explaining why it has been placed at that period? Otherwise there is nothing to stop it being changed back by some well-intentioned user. --Eyrezer 16:54, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Which source states that Classic Star Wars issues 16-20 took place in 3 ABY?
Hi Borsk,
Which source states that Classic Star Wars issues 16-20 took place in 3 ABY? Because the issues themselves imply that they took place in 0.5 ABY (I had detailed these reasons in a previous post). Do you know an official source or a reason for dating these issues (Archie Goodwins's Classic Star Wars) to 3 ABY? Please help.
Thank you Kozand 20:05, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't mean to ignore your previous post. I just didn't see it when I last checked my talkpage, sorry for that. I can't check my sources right now, so off the top of my head: Comics Companion gives the date for these comics as 3 ABY. The construction of Echo Base began around 1 ABY, but wasn't completed until 3 ABY. That's when the Rebels started using it. It took two years to build Echo Base, according to Complete Locations and the New Essential Chronology. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 13:39, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you Borsk. Now I understand :). Then may I suggest that we edit the entry of the Classic Star Wars issue 17: namely add a behind the scenes section and state that although the issue 17 seamlessly follows issue 16 there is actually a gap of 2,5 years in the page 11 eleven of the issue 17 -between the 3rd and 4th frame of the page 11? In the third frame Luke says "Yahoo! Hoth... Here we come!" Then we see in the forth frame that rebel fleet already arrived to to Hoth and settled the Hoth base (since the sources indicate that the Hoth base was completed in 3 ABY. In fact the New Essential Chronology states that although rebels wanted to go Hoth immediately after leaving Yavin, supply issues and Imperial pursuit delayed their plans considerably). The first frame of the page 15 of the issue 17 also needs a behind the scenes entry stating that Millennium Falcon's navicomputer was broken because of another close pass to another unstable star. Because since this issue takes place in 3 ABY this unstable star mentioned in the first frame cannot be the unstable star rebels used as an escape route back in issue 16 dated to 0,5 ABY. If you are OK with this I would like to make the changes myself. Again I just suggest a behind the scenes entry and I am not talking about changing the main entries or info box. Everything will be left as the sources state but a simple behind the scenes explanation will be added to the entry of the issue 17.Kozand 19:02, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Fact File 22
Hey Borsk, would you be able to tell me what the Official Star Wars Fact File #22 says about IG-72? Also, could you tell me the IG-series entry's abbreviated name (e.g. "YAD 1-2" for Yaddle's one)? Cheers, -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 19:33, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about the pagecode. It is ATT in the German Fact File (which stands for "Attentäterdroide" = German word for assassin droid), so I'm assuming it's ASS in the English Files.
- ASS 4
- IG-72 was the fifth IG-series droid that was activated. After his escape from the Holowan laboratories he went into hiding and attacked seemingly random targets. Eventually, he seemed to have vanished entirely in the darkness of the galactic underworld. His last victim was the the Prefect of Tatooine: Orun Depp. Depp died when IG-72 self-destructed during his assignment to capture Adar Tallon, a hero of the Republic.
- ASS 5-6
- Soon after the events at Holowan Mechanicals, Darth Vader's troops searched the desert planet Tatooine for two escaped droids. During their search, the soldiers lured one of the greatest heroes of the Republic out of his hiding place: Adar Tallon. The Empire sent several bounty hunters to capture or kill this master strategist and good friend of the defected Alliance General Dodonna - one of them was IG-72.
- [...] Unlike the other hunters, IG-72 decided to work alone, but kept a close eye on the other groups and the Rebel team in case that one of them would catch the former Fleet Admiral before him - he would then just take their prey away from them. [...] When the Rebels finally tried to escape from Mos Eisley, IG-72 analysed the ensuing shoot-out between the Alliance and the forces of the Imperial garrison. After an extensive analysis of his enemies, the droid started to kill everyone who stood between him and Tallon. But the Alliance was lucky that day, the Rebels managed to paralyse IG-72 and fled with Tallon. What happened to the droid after this is unknown. It is assumed that he self-destructed during the attempt to kill Tallon, but this may be wishful thinking: The IG droids have always shown a strong will to survive. [...]
