By 228 BBY,[2] during the High Republic Era, a noodle cart operated in Port Haileap, an outpost located on[1] the Outer Rim[3] planet Haileap.[1] A noodle cart known as Koko Noodle run by the vendor Koko had operated in Port Haileap until it was destroyed during a Nihil pirates' attack[4] in 230 BBY.[5]
The Hutt Churo, who was based in Port Haileap as the protégé of the Shani biologist Glenna Kip, knew of the noodle cart, considering it one of two places to eat there alongside the tavern Rusty Droid.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] while traveling to[1] the Outer Rim[6] planet Aricho aboard his ship, the Lucky Tortle, Churo recalled the noodle cart when thinking about stories he had heard about Nihil scav droids in the Rusty Droid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The noodle cart was mentioned in the 2025 junior novel The High Republic: A Valiant Vow, written by Justina Ireland as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[7]
