Koko (Port Haileap)

Koko was a vendor who ran Koko Noodle, a noodle cart at the outpost Port Haileap on the planet Haileap. The Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros—whose favorite place to eat at the outpost was Koko Noodle—considered Koko's noodles to be the most spiciest and tangiest noodles available.[1]

In 230 BBY,[2] the Nihil pirates attacked Port Haileap, which resulted in the destruction of Koko's cart. When he and his Master—the Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh—arrived on the planet after the attack in search of their friend Avon Starros, Cantaros was sad when he saw the destroyed cart. In response, Rwoh patted her Padawan's arm and expressed her hope that the vendor had made it away safely. As he later looked upon the destroyed cart again, Cantaros mentally noted that Koko had not been seen since the attack.[1]

Behind the scenes

Koko was mentioned in the 2022 junior novel The High Republic: Mission to Disaster, written by Justina Ireland and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
