"What are you guys even doing?"
―Asking Neel and Wim after seeing them pretend lightsaber fight while waiting for the tram to school[1]

A human youngling lived on the planet At Attin,[1]—a Jewel of the Old Republic[2]—and attended At Attin Middle School Gamma during the New Republic Era.[1]

On one school day[1] around 9 ABY,[3], as the youngling waited for their tram beside a few schoolmates, they saw Neel and Wim play a pretend lightsaber duel. In response, the child asked the boys what they were doing. Later that day, the youngling was in class when Undersecretary Fara from At Attin's government discussed the upcoming Career Assessment Test, questioning students about their career aspirations. Picked to share[1] his[4] aspiration, Wim confessed that he would like to help people in danger. When the boy was rebuked by the teacher droid, who noticed that helping people was security droids' task, the mean child chuckled out loud, only to fall silent moments later after the rebuked boy turned around and looked at them.[1]

The human youngling had tan skin and dark eyes. When in school, they sported a beige uniform and wore their long, dark hair left loose.[1]

Behind the scenes

The mean kid first appeared in the 2024 Disney+ live-action television series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and was portrayed by Vivienne Sachs.[1]

  3. Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition, SWInsider "A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian must all be set in 9 ABY as well. StarWars.com SWCA 2022: 20 Highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase on StarWars.com (backup link) states that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew takes place in the same timeframe as Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Ahsoka—the latter of which can also be dated to 9 ABY following the reasoning here. As such, Skeleton Crew must take place around 9 ABY as well.
