- "There is no map to At Attin. No, this scroll depicts the Jewels of the Old Republic. Planets of wonder kept hidden for their protection."
- ―Kh'ymm
The Jewels of the Old Republic were a group of nine planets that were hidden long before the New Republic Era. Most of the planets were at some point believed destroyed, with only At Attin said to be remaining.[1] Over time, At Attin acquired legendary status as the "lost planet of eternal treasure" among citizens of the galaxy,[3] whereas the citizens of At Attin remained ignorant to the galaxy at large, committing themselves to the Great Work of the Galactic Republic many years after the fall of that incarnation of the Republic.[4]
Another one of the Jewels, At Achrann, was a war-torn world that greatly resembled At Attin, with two tribes—the Troik and Hattan—fighting each other in the era of the New Republic. Four of the other Jewels were At Aytuu, At Aravin, At Arissia, and At Acoda.[2]
