A male child resided on the jungle planet Akiva in the Outer Rim Territories with his mom.[1] Some point before 3 ABY,[2] the son was gifted a modified MSE series droid named Pip-Squeak by a Rodian droidsmith going by "the Toymaker" while they were in the capital city Myrra. The child grew very attached to the droid and later passed away. Afterwards Pip-Squeak eventually stopped functioning and their mom traveled to Myrra hoping to find the droidsmith and have the droid repaired[1] in 3 ABY.[2] When she arrived at the Toymaker's shop, she discovered it was closed and began asking passersby if they could help her.[1]
Pip-Squeak, the son's droid
She was eventually approached by a human named Kay Vess who helped find a droidsmith to repair Pip-Squeak after hearing about the droid's sentimental value. Grateful, the woman rewarded Vess with a game piece used in the Canto Pass game.[1]
Behind the scenes
The son was mentioned in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. He was mentioned as part of the optional intel quest "Missing Toymaker" on Akiva.[1]
