A droid shop in the city Myrra on the planet Akiva which was operated during the reign of the Galactic Empire by the Rodian droidsmith Gedeek Obaz under the identify of "The Toymaker".
History
The droid shop was operated by a Rodian named Gedeek Obaz during the reign of the Galactic Empire while he was forced to work as a droidsmith for the Imperial Engineering Corps on the planet Akiva. Obaz ran the shop from the Artisan's Row section of the planet's capital city Myrra. In an effort to alleviate his guilt in helping the Empire, Obaz began gifting custom built droids to Akivan children from a the shop while using the secret identity "The Toymaker".[2] In 3 ABY,[1] Obaz was able to escape the Empire with the help of his friend Kay Vess. As such the shop was closed when a human engineer visited it hoping Obaz, who she only knew as "The Toymaker" would repair Pip-Squeak, a MSE series droid that Obaz had gifted to her late son. After discovering that the shop was closed she began asking passersby if they could help her find the droidsmith.[2]
Pip-Squeak, the son's droid
She was eventually approached by Vess who agreed to find a droidsmith able repair Pip-Squeak after hearing about the droid's sentimental value. During her search for a droidsmith she learned that "The Toymaker" was in fact her friend and proceeded to contact him via a comlink. Being unavailable at the time, he directed her to a fellow Rodian droidsmith that he new in the Market District of Myrra. While the droidsmith repaired Pip-Squeak, Vess learned more about Obaz's time on Akiva and why he started operating as the Toymaker. After Pip-Squeak was successfully repaired Vess returned the droid to the grateful engineer.[2]

The shop was mentioned as part of the optional intel quest "Missing Toymaker" in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[2]
