By between 233 BBY and 232 BBY,[2] members of this species could be found at both Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu,[1] as well as Kublop Springs on the planet Tenoo.[3] All observed instances of this species wore distinctive saucer helmets, and traveled on small repulsor-platforms as opposed to walking.[1]

The species first appeared in "The Tale of Short Spire," the first part of the twenty-second episode of the Disney+ and Disney Junior animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures' first season.[1]
