Unidentified cyborg Nihil

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An Arcona served as a member for the Nihil marauder organization, standing on guard in front of the service entrance to the Arkorayal Cabaret Cantina on the planet Eriadu on behalf of a future attack planned to be carried out by the Warden, during the High Republic Era. In 228 BBY, the Nihil released their annoyance to another guard for being stationed outside of the entrance, unable to find the purpose to them being present and mockingly suggesting a Jedi would arrive. The other Nihil positioned then reminded the Arcona of the reason the two were present.

However, as the other guard was conversing, they were caught off guard by the arrival of two Jedi, who showed up for the wedding of their friends, with Jedi Knight Farzala Tarabal employing the Force on the guard who was slammed into a wall. The Arcona watched in bewilderment of their acquaintance's ambush before viewing the Jedi who caused the commotion. The Jedi eventually proceeded through the service entrance and celebrated their friends wedding.

Biography

During the High Republic Era, an Arcona served in the Nihil marauder organization, which was currently in conflict with the Jedi, an order of Force-users allied with the Galactic Republic.^[2] In 228 BBY,^[3] the Nihil was present on^[1] the planet^[4] Eriadu where the Nihil planned to amount a full-scale attack on the world. In preparation for the assault, the Nihil was ordered along with another Nihil by^[1] the warlord^[5] the Warden to guard a service entrance to the Arkorayal Cabaret Cantina in Bri-Phrang City. As the two stood alert, the Arcona vented their frustration towards their acquaintance about how idiotic the task they were sent to accomplish seemed. They continued to express their anger on the Jedi, and how the appearance of a famed one near the entrance was nonexistent.^[1]

Hearing their words, the other Nihil enlightened the Arcona on how the Warden specifically mentioned they remain observant by the service entrance, and keep individuals from setting foot or leaving the cantina. Although, before finishing the statement, the Nihil was taken by surprise from the arrival of two Jedi, both each present for the wedding of their friends, Zeen Mrala and Lula Talisola. Farzala Tarabal, a Zygerrian^[1] Jedi Knight,^[6] proceeded to employ the Force upon the Nihil, who was sent flying backwards into a wall. The Arcona viewed the event that transpired in confusion before spotting the two Jedi ahead of them, cursing at their appearance. The two Jedi eventually passed the Arcona from the entrance into the Arkorayal and watched as Mrala and Talisola were wedded.^[1]

Personality and traits

The Nihil was displeased by the orders given to them by their superior and conveyed their irritation towards the other sentry by the service entrance, along with criticizing the approach of a Jedi, with the guard informing them of the commands assigned to each of them. The Arcona was bewildered at observing the other guard be thrusted into the air, subsequently cursing at identifying the culprits of the ambush, which were Jedi. The Nihil had salmon skin with a blue Eye of the Nihil insignia painted on their head.^[1]

Equipment

The Nihil wore several pieces of clothing on their body, which consisted of a gray shirt with a subtle Eye of the Nihil insignia inscribed on it under a short, silver jacket. The Nihil also wielded a bronze holster with brown cloth attached to it and a greenish-brown cape. Additionally, the Nihil wore armor along their body, comprised of silver gauntlets on each hand and silver vambraces on each arm and a bronze pauldron on their right shoulder. The Arcona wore a bronze gas mask with green lenses on their face. They also had a yellow cybernetic right leg, with a red boot sported on the other.^[1]

The Nihil appeared in the one-shot comic The High Republic Adventures Phase III - The Wedding Spectacular. The issue was written by Daniel José Older and published by Dark Horse Comics as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase III^[1] on December 18, 2024.^[7] The panels the Nihil appeared in were illustrated by Jo Mi-Gyeong.^[1]
