Unidentified Nihil (Farzala Tarabal)

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An individual served the Nihil marauder organization during the High Republic Era and stood on guard alongside another Nihil outside the service entrance of the Arkorayal Cabaret Cantina on the planet Eriadu while awaiting an impending attack on the planet on behalf of the Warden. In 228 BBY, the Nihil chatted with the other sentry who was angered at being stationed at the entrance to the establishment, believing it to be a waste of time. The Nihil informed their patrol the two received orders from the Warden to remain posted there and ensure no one enters or leaves the cantina until the attack is launched by him.

Although, before finishing the statement, the Nihil was caught by surprise from the appearance of two Jedi, who were in attendance for a wedding occurring within the Arkorayal. One such Jedi proceeded to use the Force on the Nihil, who yelled as they were impacted into a wall. The other guard then observed the Jedi and cursed at their arrival before they too were dealt with. The Jedi were later present for the wedding inside the tavern and witnessed the two lovers get married.

Biography

In 228 BBY,^[2] an individual served in the Nihil marauder organization and was present on^[1] the planet^[3] Eriadu. During that time, they were ordered by the Nihil^[1] warlord,^[4] the Warden, to stand outside of a service entrance to the Arkorayal Cabaret Cantina in preparation for an attack on the planet that was set to begin shortly. While present outside the establishment, the other guard sent alongside them made small talk and complained to them about how their duty was nonsensical and the chances of a prominent Jedi,^[1] a group of Force-users^[5] currently in conflict with the Nihil, appearing near the entrance was slim. The Nihil acknowledged the response by informing their acquaintance how the Warden stated no single individual may enter or depart from the building until he arrives to commence the attack.^[1]

However, before they could finish their response, the Nihil was caught off guard by the arrival of two Jedi, who were both present for the wedding of Zeen Mrala and Lula Talisola at the cantina. One of the Jedi, the Zygerrian^[1] Jedi Knight^[6] Farzala Tarabal, utilized the Force to push the Nihil into a wall. As they screamed, the other guard watched in confusion before sighting the two Jedi in front of them and cursed at their appearance. The Nihil were later managed by the Jedi with the two lovers being married not long after.^[1]

Personality and traits

The Nihil conversed with their other sentry and informed them about what their superior instructed them to due, despite their companion disliking their current situation. During mid-sentence, they quickly spotted two Jedi appear before them, but were easily overpowered by the Force-sensitives. They had beige skin with their head being engraved with a blue Eye of the Nihil insignia.^[1]

Equipment

The Nihil wore a purplish shirt accompanied with a purplish skirt, along with a blue cloth wrapped around their waist, gray boots, a brown bandolier around their chest, and a bracelet on their right arm. The Nihil also wore a brownish gas mask on their face, which consisted of four horizontal lenses, two centered being red and two larger green on the sides, two spikes protruding from the borders of the mask, and a large black tube extending from the middle. The Nihil also held a datapad which they later released after being slammed into a wall by Tarabal.^[1]

The Nihil appeared in the one-shot comic The High Republic Adventures Phase III - The Wedding Spectacular. The issue was written by Daniel José Older and published by Dark Horse Comics as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase III^[1] on December 18, 2024.^[7] The panels the Nihil appeared in were illustrated by Jo Mi-Gyeong.^[1]
