"The cruel ones came for greed but left unity behind. Word spread quickly. Soon, neighbours of all sorts gathered to meet, to share stories and to build the forest of the future—together."
―Wicket Wystri Warrick[1]

A species of blue-furred bipeds could be found on the forest moon Endor. They had fluffy, blue tails, large, pointed ears, and long snouts with a black nose and sharp teeth.[1] After the Battle of Endor[1] in 4 ABY,[2] word spread across Endor that Imperials had returned to the moon but been seen off by members of the Ewok Bright Tree tribe and their Yuzzum neighbours, who had been summoned by the Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick. This led to many of the tribes neighbours, including atleast six members of the blue-furred species, gathering in Bright Tree Village to meet the Ewoks, share stories, and work in unity to build the forest's future together. During the gathering, the blue-furred visitors all wore orange capes and black face masks while sitting around a table and eating various types of food.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the species appeared in fourth issue of the Star Wars: Ewoks comic book series, which was written by Steve Orlando, illustrated by Laura Braga and Álvaro López,[1] and published on January 29, 2025.[3] The species was created by writer Bob Carrau for the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they were called Skandits and first appeared in "The Curse of the Jindas," the seventh episode of the first season of the Ewoks animated cartoon, which aired on October 19, 1985.[4]
