Star Wars: Ewoks is a canon comic book limited series set in the direct aftermath of of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Written by Steve Orlando and illustrated by Álvaro López and Laura Braga, the first issue of the series was published by Marvel Comics on October 9, 2024.
Development
After getting contacted to work as a penciller for the Star Wars: Ewoks miniseries, Álvaro López rushed to revisit the films and wondered on which species they would illustrate for it. Upon receiving the script, it was everything López had hoped for and they had fun with the miniseries.[4]
