- "Brace for impact!!"
- ―The Sullustan to their crew, regarding a ship
A Sullustan male pirate served within the Nihil marauder organization and oversaw the controls of a hauler that carried crystals to the starship Gaze Electric inside Nihil space during the High Republic Era. In 228 BBY, the Sullustan alerted the crew of the hauler to brace for collision with another ship after it stopped in their hyperspace path. The crew achieved not colliding with the ship and celebrated on the flight deck, only for the occupants of the other ship, the humans Alys "Crash" Ongwa and Krix Kamerat, to force them to surrender. After a brief skirmish that left one crew member dead, the Sullustan and their crewmates were tied up by Kamerat, with the hauler being taken over by Ongwa.

During the High Republic Era, a Sullustan male pirate served within the Nihil marauder organization. They supervised the controls to a hauler operating in Nihil space that occasionally carried crystals to the starship Gaze Electric, which helped power the Stormwall,[1] a hyperspace barrier created by the Nihil.[2] In 228 BBY,[3] the crew was carrying out one such run to the Gaze, with their cargo also including food and supplies, and started to panic in the hauler after discovering a ship was located in their hyperspace exit path. As the crew scrambled to stop a collision, the Sullustan warned their crewmates to prepare for impact. The crew managed to prevent the drastic contact from happening, which caused the Sullustan and others in the cockpit to rejoice.[1]
The celebration was cut short after the human anti-Nihil freedom fighter Alys "Crash" Ongwa and human former Nihil Krix Kamerat made themselves known after they infiltrated the hauler from their own ship and advised the crew to surrender. Following the death of one crew member who refused to listen, Ongwa asked the cabin if any more wished to be "heroic" and fight back against the two, which brought silence amongst the remaining individuals. While Ongwa went to check the cargo hold after the encounter, she instructed Kamerat to bind the pirates, which included the Sullustan. Ongwa eventually took control over the hauler and dropped the cargo off to people who needed the resources on the planet Eriadu.[1]
Personality and traits
- "Krix, go ahead and tie these fellas up."
- ―Crash Ongwa to Krix Kamerat, regarding the pirates
The pirate was fearful after another ship was in their exit path and warned the rest of the crew of the impending collision. The Sullustan rejoiced with the crew once noticing they successfully helped make sure the impact was averted but was nervous after the inhabitants of the other ship infiltrated their hauler. They had tan skin, black hair, and black eyes.[1]
Equipment
The pirate wore a brown flight suit along with a belt, brown knee and elbow pads, brown gloves, and dirty brown boots. They also wore two brown pauldrons, with one pauldron being painted with the Eye of the Nihil insignia.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic Adventures (2023) 4 takes place one year and two weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY. Since the events of The High Republic Adventures (2023) 6 are set immediately following the fourth issue and depict the expansion of the Stormwall, the expansion must have taken place in the same year. Meanwhile, the events of "Tales from the Occlusion Zone: No Big Deal" include the Stormwall's expansion and also depict the start of Pikka Adren's pregnancy. A later story, "Tales from the Occlusion Zone: Sparks Fly," states that Adren is eight months pregnant during its events, indicating that it is set eight months after "No Big Deal," and therefore one year, eight months, and two weeks after the fall of Starlight Beacon. "Sparks Fly" is set during the Battle of Eriadu, an event that begins in The High Republic Adventures Phase III - The Wedding Spectacular. As
Star Wars: The High Republic Chronological Reader's Guide on StarWars.com (article) (backup link) places The High Republic Adventures: Crash and Burn between the events of "No Big Deal" and The Wedding Spectacular, its events must also be set in 228 BBY.
