- "Inmate three-four-six-six-seven, descend and receive new instructions."
- ―The security droid, to Migs Mayfeld
An N5 sentry droid operated for the New Republic at[1] the Karthon Chop Fields,[2] a scrapyard where prisoners of the New Republic were sentenced to serve.[1] Around 9 ABY,[3] the N5 sentry droid approached the prisoner[1] Migs Mayfeld[2] as he worked, ordering him to salute in the presence of New Republic Marshal Cara Dune. Dune remanded Mayfeld into her custody, and the security droid accepted, ordering the prisoner to follow her. Mayfeld was confused by the situation, and the droid repeated its order, threatening him to comply within three seconds. The prisoner relented, following Dune to her starship.[1]

SWCC 2019: 9 Things We Learned from The Mandalorian Panel on StarWars.com (backup link) establishes that Star Wars: The Mandalorian is set about five years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 4 ABY. Therefore, the events of "Chapter 15: The Believer," including the N5 sentry droid's appearance, must have taken place around 9 ABY.
