The New Republic Correctional Corps was a branch of the New Republic used to deal with prisoners of the New Republic. The New Republic soldier Lieutenant Lant Davan was a member of the organization, which owned New Republic Correctional Transports.^[2]

Behind the scenes

The New Republic Correctional Corps first appeared in "Chapter 6: The Prisoner" of Jon Favreau's live-action television show Star Wars: The Mandalorian, directed by Rick Famuyiwa^[3] and released on December 13, 2019 on Disney+.^[4] The organization was later identified in "Chapter 10: The Passenger," which was directed by Peyton Reed^[2] and released on November 6, 2020.^[5]
