Twelfth Army

The Twelfth Army, also known as Cerulean Spear Command, was a Republic and later Imperial Sector Army charged with the defense of the Maldrood Oversector.^[1]

During the Clone Wars between 21 BBY and 19 BBY, Cerulean Spear was charged with invading and controlling the Separatist enclave on the Outer Perlemian, which included many of the Confederacy's most productive and best-defended industrial worlds. With Sector 3 reinforcing its Coreward positions, Cerulean Spear had advanced early from its secure rear base at Lantillies to Centares. It also played a major role during the Outer Rim Sieges.^[1]

During the Reconquest of the Rim between 19 BBY and 17 BBY, Cerulean Spear Command was relocated to Charros during the Sy Myrthian Insurrection, where the group ground down Senator Toonbuck Toora's forces after several months of fighting, as well as winning Diado and Metalorn and besieging Sy Myrth, before eventually having the Praetor-class Star Battlecruiser Battalion chase down and eventually wipe out Toora and her fleet.^[1]
