Charros IV, also referred to simply as Charros, was an arid planet in the Mid Rim with high plateaus, snow-capped mountains, and black-water lakes.
History
Around 3643 BBY,[4] the pirate Ingor Watt planned to sell stolen blasters to warlords on Charros IV.[5]
The Charros IV Xi Char cathedral factories were infiltrated by Raith Sienar in 45 BBY; the Xi Charrians were infuriated when he was exposed as an infidel. The planet's government manufactured Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark Is for the Confederacy of Independent Systems; to the Xi Charrians, these were works of art. Haor Chall Engineering was headquartered on the planet, but abandoned the world after being attacked during the Clone Wars by the Republic.
After the Battle of Endor, the planet was under the control of Warlord Treuten Teradoc. The New Republic freed the planet during the Post–Zsinj campaigns in 8.5 ABY. The planet joined the New Republic shortly after. It was a New Republic stronghold during the Thrawn campaign.[2]
The world was also conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion sometime around 27 ABY.[2]

- ↑ Per the reasoning here, Act I of Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place around 3643 BBY. Since players of The Old Republic can assign their companions on the mission "Shady Deal" independently of the main class storyline at any point during the game, the mission must take place at some point around 3643 BBY.
