The Trailing Grant sector was a sector in the Expansion Region that contained the Gandeid system and the Teriq Noi system in grid square J-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The Teriq Noi system contained the astronomical object Teriq Noi where,[2] between 0 ABY and 3 ABY,[3] the enslaver U'rum captured a disguised C-3PO—a Rebel Alliance protocol droid—after he approached her claiming to be a musician while she drank at a tavern on Teriq Noi.[2]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Trailing Grant sector was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[4] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[5] The Trailing Grant sector was depicted on a map designed by Modi and published in the 2012 StarWars.com article Essential Atlas Extra: Expansion Region.[6]
