Theros Major was a terrestrial astronomical object[4] located in the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories,[2] within the Hollan sector's Theros Major system.[3] It was situated in grid square M-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] During the High Republic Era, Jedi Master Stellan Gios[4] and Jedi Knight[5] Indeera Stokes visited the celestial body and enjoyed some food while there.[4] In 231 BBY,[6] when Gios indicated he was looking forward to the pickled cushnip dish available on Valo—an Outer Rim planet hosting the upcoming Republic Fair—Stokes joked that she would be the judge of whether it surpassed their dining on Theros Major.[4]

Theros Major was first mentioned in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott[4] for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I.[7]
