Therisa Alern was a human who served as an intelligence operative in the nascent New Republic during the Galactic Civil War. She was selected by Princess Leia Organa for a covert mission to the Anoat sector in order to investigate Grand Moff Ubrik Adelhard's Iron Blockade. The team, which also included Kes Dameron, Jarek Yeager, and Rynn Zenat, entered the sector, where they were surrounded by forces of the Spice Runners of Kijimi.[2] She was later killed when a TIE fighter that she had commandeered was destroyed.[3]
