- "Look at just the conviction numbers we're allowed to see in the places we know are peaceful. An eighteen percent rise in Kaifo. Tepasi, twenty-one."
- ―Mon Mothma
Tepasi was a planet[7] located in the Tepasi system in Tagge Space, a region of the Core Worlds.[2] Tepasi was the homeworld of Grand General Cassio Tagge, a member of the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War who was born into the noble House of Tagge.[4] It shared its name with Tepasi taffy.[8]
Behind the scenes
Tepasi was first mentioned in HoloNet News Vol. 531 49, a series of Star Wars Legends in-universe news articles released in 2002 as part of the HoloNet News website written by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens. The world was confirmed to be canon in the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.

Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
