- "The refugee Mon Cala city-ships in the Telaris cometary cloud have completed their conversion into war production facilities."
- ―Colonel Anj Zavor, in a report to Mon Mothma
Rebel stardocks were active in the reign of the Galactic Empire and were located in the Telaris cometary cloud in the Telaris system. The stardocks were created from refugee Mon Cala city-ships and were suited for use as war production facilities by the nascent Rebel Alliance to refit their warships.[1]
Characteristics
The rebel stardocks were created from a group of Mon Cala city-ships that were part of the mass exodus from the Mon Calamari homeworld. Once the city-ships were converted into war production facilities, they were able to convert Mon Calamari Star Cruisers into combat-ready warships.[1]
History
Home One (pictured) was one of multiple Mon Calamari ships that were converted for combat at Telaris.
By 3 BBY,[3] the stardocks completed their conversion and began to refit Mon Calamari Star Cruisers, with the MC75 Star Cruiser Profundity being among the first cruisers to be combat-ready for the nascent Rebel Alliance. Alliance Colonel Anj Zavor of Rebel Fleet Command sent a report to Commander-in-Chief Mon Mothma, updating her on the operations in the Telaris system. Eventually, work on the Profundity was completed, and was followed by the MC80A Home One Type Heavy Star Cruisers Home One and Nautilian.[1]
In 34 ABY,[4] after The Rebel Files were recovered, Resistance Admiral Gial Ackbar left an annotation on a report in the files commenting on whether his Home One ever beat the Nautilian out of stardock. Fellow Admiral Ushos O. Statura left a reply, stating that it did as the Nautilian's construction was hampered by the Ishanna inversion.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded states that Leia Organa was 16 years old during her mission on Lothal. Since Star Wars: Galactic Atlas establishes that Organa was born in 19 BBY, the mission must take place in 3 BBY. Dawn of Rebellion dates the attack on Phoenix Squadron to three years before the Battle of Yavin, or 3 BBY according to Star Wars: Galactic Atlas' dating system. As the mission to Ryloth takes place between these two events, it must also take place in 3 BBY. Since the Telaris rebel stardocks were activated during the time of the mission to Ryloth, it must have been active by that time.
- ↑ Since The Rebel Files were buried on the same day as the Battle of Endor, which according to Star Wars: Galactic Atlas takes place in 4 ABY, and because Star Wars: The Rebel Files establishes that The Rebel Files were rediscovered 30 years after the battle, it can be determined that The Rebel Files were uncovered in 34 ABY.
