- "The refugee Mon Cala city-ships in the Telaris cometary cloud have completed their conversion into war production facilities."
- ―Colonel Anj Zavor, in a report to Mon Mothma
The Telaris cometary cloud was a cometary cloud in the Telaris system. During the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire, the nascent Rebel Alliance utilized rebel stardocks converted from Mon Cala city-ships to refit Mon Calamari Star Cruisers into warships, and used the UT-60D U-wing starfighter/support craft as a cargo and VIP escort between Mon Cala and Telaris.[2] Between 4 BBY and 3 BBY,[3] the Profundity was the first to enter war production and Colonel Anj Zavor of Rebel Fleet Command sent a report to Commander-in-Chief Mon Mothma with an update of Telaris system operations. Eventually, the Profundity was the first to be completed, followed by Home One and Nautilian.[2]
