Admiral Trench carried a swagger stick.
A swagger stick was a short cane often used to symbolize authority. It was generally smaller than a full-sized walking stick and not used as a mobility aid.
During the Clone Wars, Chairman Papanoida of the Pantoran Assembly[1] and Admiral Trench of the Confederacy of Independent Systems Navy were known to use swaggersticks.[2] Allegiant General Enric Pryde of the First Order carried a lacquered ebonwood swaggerstick during the First Order-Resistance War.[3]
