- "You waltz in here, dressed like a Surakkean peacock, expecting me to throw money at you."
- ―Lando Calrissian to Jaxxon Tumperraki
A Surakkean peacock was a type of peacock[1] originating from the Surakkea system[1][2] in the Mid Rim Territories.[3] In 3 ABY,[4] when the Lepi businessman Jaxxon T. Tumperakki visited the Baron Administrator of the planet Bespin, Lando Calrissian, in the hopes of gaining an investment from him, he dressed in a way that Calrissian compared to the appearance of a Surakkean peacock.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Surakkean peacock was mentioned in "Fake It Till You Make It," a short story written by Cavan Scott and published in the 2020 anthology From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[1]

Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Surakkean peacock in relation to Surakkea system.
