Peacock

Peacocks were creatures that sported long, ostentatious tails that trailed behind them.^[1] Vain or ostentatious people were sometimes compared to a peacock.^[2] The Imperial bureaucrat Arsin Crassus sometimes wore a glittering robe trailing behind him like a peacock's tail.^[1]
