Sun Fac[4] was an upper-caste Geonosian who lived in the Stalgasin hive on Geonosis.[3] He served as chief lieutenant to Archduke Poggle the Lesser[5] and acted as Poggle's personal enforcer,[6] ensuring that his master's will was carried out across Geonosis. He was unusually intelligent and creative for his species and possessed the versatility to play whatever role was required to increase productivity, ranging from a sympathetic listener to a heartless executioner.[5] A renowned warrior, Fac armed himself with a Geonosian sonic blaster and used a force pike in hand-to-hand combat.[7] During the First Battle of Geonosis[6] in 22 BBY,[2] Fac piloted a Nantex-class starfighter and shot down a Galactic Republic Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry.[6] Fac then tried to avoid capture by the Republic as the battle carried on. During that effort, however, Fac was killed.[1]
