- "The object they seek is in a cave on the outskirts of the Kharvashark Ruins, on the southern hemisphere of Vrant Tarnum, in the far reaches of the Stygmarn system."
- ―Tromak
The Stygmarn system was a star system which contained the planet Vrant Tarnum. Half of an ancient relic guarded by the Elders of the Path was hidden in a cave on the planet's southern hemisphere, near the Kharvashark Ruins. Elder Tromak confided the location of the artifact to Krix Kamerat when they were in danger from the Nihil, whose leader Marchion Ro sought the relic out.[4]
Behind the scenes
The High Republic Adventures – Dispatches from the Occlusion Zone 3 placed the Stygmarn system in the Tarabba sector within the Occlusion Zone,[4] but the map in the Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide[5] and the initial iteration of the "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix place it instead in the Bri'ahl sector, in grid square I-17.[3] The October 13, 2025 version of the appendix corrected the discrepancy,[6] listing Stygmarn as being in grid square N-19 in the Tarabba sector.[3]
