A Canto Bight floating slot machine

A slot machine was a gambling game popular in casinos. The Canto Casino of Cantonica had several slot machines.[2] The Canto Casino's slot machines had a quantum-layered carbonite shell which prevented tampering.[3] The slot machines at Vranki's Hotel and Casino had their algorithms modified, making it nearly impossible to win.[4]

In 34 ABY, during Resistance members Finn's and Rose Tico's mission to Canto Bight, the alien Dobbu Scay mistook the droid BB-8 as a slot machine for his likeness. The droid ended up accumulating many of Scay's Cantocoins.[5]
