- "They are native to Sljee (although they also inhabit other watery worlds), and they're known to wrap their tentacles around unwitting bystanders before dragging them into lagoons for consumption."
- ―From the journal of Ardis San Tekka
Sljee was a watery world[3] in the Sljee system of the Ehosiq sector in the Expansion Region[1] and the Interior.[2] It was located in grid square M-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Sljee was the home of the blixus, a type of highly aggressive amphibian predator that lived in lagoons. The creatures could also be found living on a number of other watery worlds. Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts Director of Creature Cartography Ardis San Tekka mentioned Sljee when writing about blixi in her journal[3] at some point after the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes
Sljee was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2024 reference book Star Wars Bestiary, Vol. 1: Creatures of the Galaxy, which was written by S.T. Bende.[3] The world originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 1984 reference book A Guide to the Star Wars Universe, which was written by Raymond L. Velasco.[5]
