The Sikurd system was a star system located in the Tynquay sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] It was situated in grid square Q-4 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and was the home[3] of the Sikurdian species.[4]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Sikurd system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[5] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[6]

This article treats the Sikurd system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Sikurdian species.
