The Rokaria system was a star system in the Tynquay sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] It fell within grid square Q-4 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and was home to the Rokarian dirt-fish.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Rokaria system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[4] The Rokaria system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[5]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Rokaria system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the the Rokarian dirt-fish species.
