Rior was an Outer Rim Territories[1] planet[3] located in the Rior system of the Tamarin sector[2] in grid N-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It was situated on a hyperspace route that connected it to[1] the Kabal and Sevarcos systems.[4] Rior was the homeworld of Loje Nella,[3] a Riorian[5] member of the court of[3] the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure.[6]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Rior was introduced in the French release of the 2017 reference book Star Wars: Geektionary: The Galaxy from A - Z.[3] The celestial body originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was mentioned in Wanted by Cracken, a 1993 supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Louis J. Prosperi and published by West End Games.[7]
