- "When I was a child, I remember my great-grandfather telling me stories of Pathfinder teams, with Jedi and the Republic working in tandem during the great hyperspace expansion."
- ―Rina Greylark
A male member of the Greylark family lived during the High Republic Era. The man told their great-granddaughter Rina Greylark—who was a child at the time—stories about the Galactic Republic's Pathfinder teams that took part in the hyperspace expansion into the outer reaches of the galaxy.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] Rina recalled being told by her great-grandfather about the Pathfinder teams while volunteering to take part in a mission to the Outer Rim planet Mynos III.[1]
Behind the scenes
Rina Greylark's great-grandfather was mentioned in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Beware the Nameless takes place one and a half years after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY.
