Rethel Point system

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This unidentified system was located in the Far Xandil sector,^[1] within the Trailing Sectors portion of^[2] the Mid Rim.^[1] The star system bore no name and only had a numerical designation. It contained a planet that was orbited by two small moons.^[3]

The planet was the location of a ruined city that emanated a sensor disruption field known as Rethel Point. The field spread across most of the planet, growing slightly weaker the farther it stretched from the ruins of the city, and ended just before reaching the orbital paths of the moons. It was rumored that a sentient species, the Rethel, had built the city at one time long before 2 ABY. However, the ruins were so old, with so little evidence left behind by the builders, that the idea that their name had somehow survived was hard to believe.^[3]
