- Organa: "Gamble, come in. What's happening out there?"
- Jerell: "Princess, another ship just entered the system and is heading for us at attack speed. It's not Imperial, but we can't read the ID and the sensors say it's heavily armed."
- Solo: "It's another pirate."
- Tesar: "How do you know?"
- Solo: "This sector is lousy with pirates."
- ―Leia Organa, Jerell, Han Solo and Sian Tesar[3]
The Far Xandil sector was a sector located in[1] the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It contained Arnot Station,[3] the planet Demnadi,[5] the Eschaton system, and a planet that possessed a sensor disruption field known as Rethel Point.[3]
The Far Xandil sector bordered the Alui, Iskin, Lambda, Ryndellian and Vendusii sectors.[1] It shared its name with Xandil VII, an astronomical object[6] located in the neighboring Lambda sector.[1]
The area of space containing the Far Xandil sector was first explored between 3000 BBY and 1000 BBY.[2]
