This unidentified city was located on a planet[1] in the Far Xandil sector,[2] within the Trailing Sectors portion of[3] the Mid Rim.[2] Its ruins contained shattered towers and circular streets that were covered by sand drifts and vegetation.[1]
The ruined city emanated a sensor disruption field known as Rethel Point. The field spread across most of the planet, growing slightly weaker the farther it stretched from the ruins of the city, and ended just before reaching the orbital paths of the planet's two small moons. It was rumored that a sentient species, the Rethel, had built the city at one time long before 2 ABY. However, the ruins were so old, with so little evidence left behind by the builders, that the idea that their name had somehow survived was hard to believe.[1]
