- "Archivist OrbaLin has located the girl's father in a Republic rehabilitation unit on Coruscant. […] They're going to be reunited. A happy ending for this family at least."
- ―Elzar Mann, to Ty Yorrick
A Republic rehabilitation unit operated by the Galactic Republic was located on[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Coruscant during the High Republic Era. At some point after[1] the Lonto male Lycos—a member of the Nihil[3] pirates'[2] Jedi hunting Children of the Storm—was defeated by the Jedi Order and Republic on[3] the planet Ballum[4] in 228 BBY,[5] he was taken to the rehabilitation unit.[1]
Around that year,[6] Lycos' daughter, the Lonto Vila, was rescued from[1] the Outer Rim[2] planet Dalna in the Nihil's Occlusion Zone[1] region of space[2] and brought to Republic space by the monster hunter Ty Yorrick. While Vila was aboard the Republic Longbeam cruiser Gios, Jedi archivist OrbaLin located Lycos in the rehabilitation unit. As Jedi Master Elzar Mann informed Yorrick about OrbaLin's discovery of Vila's father in the rehabilitation unit and that the two were to be reunited, Vila and Lycos spoke to each other via hologram.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Temptation of the Force takes place one year and six weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon and its events span a few months, it must be set in 228 BBY. The High Republic: Tempest Breaker establishes the events of the comic series Star Wars: The High Republic, including The High Republic (2023) 2, occur concurrently to the events of Temptation of the Force, therefore meaning they must take place in the same year.
