Renaad was a male villager from the planet Vuundalla during the High Republic Era. He had a daughter named Mina. Renaad, Mina and their fellow villagers were subjects of King Pychor Vuundir and Queen Dafne Vuundir, who cared little for their subjects' welfare. After Renaad's village was devastated by a groundquake, Jedi Master Zia Zaldor Zanna and Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay and Nubs came to the aid of the villagers and offered to get supplies. While Pychor and Dafne were unwilling to help, the Jedi younglings managed to convince Prince Cyrus Vuundir to gather supplies to help the villagers rebuild their village. As a result, Cyrus got to know his subjects including Renaad and Mina, winning their respect.[1]
Later, Renaad and Mina were present when Cyrus gave his Jedi friends Brightstar, Solay and Nubs a tour of their village, which was undergoing rebuilding. Renaad explained that the village's herd of fathiers had taken a liking to Cyrus due to his regular visits. Shortly later, the Comet Runners pirate gang raided the village and stole the fathiers. Cyrus and the Jedi embarked on a mission to rescue the fathiers. After Cyrus assumed his pirate alter ego Taborr Val Dorn and defeated the Comet Runners, the Jedi returned the fathiers to the villagers. Renaad thanked Cyrus for helping them while Mina offered to teach him to ride a fathier.[3]
