The Reesaria system was located in the Bheriz sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It was situated in grid square U-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and was home to[4] the sentient Reesarian species.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Reesaria system was mentioned on a map[5] designed by Christopher Ibbitt[6] that was created for the reference book Star Wars: Timelines and given out as a promotional poster at Celebration Anaheim[7] on May 27, 2022[8] prior to the book's release during Celebration Europe[9] of April 7 through 10, 2023.[10] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[11]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Reesaria system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Reesarian species.
