- «And there goes the traitor now, running like the Quork-bothering coward he is!»
- ―Chief Chirpa
Quorks were a species of sentient furred bipeds found on the moon Endor. After word spread that the Ewoks of the Bright Tree tribe and a group of Yuzzums had seen off a group of Imperials in 4 ABY, a Quork was among a number of neighbors of the Ewoks who gathered at Bright Tree Village to share stories and work in unity with others.
Biology and appearance
Quorks[2] were a bipedal sentient species found on the forest moon Endor. Their bodies were covered in brown fur, with gray fur framing their face, which was fur-free, showing the species' light pink skin. The face included a flat snout and a mouth, with thick black eyebrows and a pair of pink horns. Quorks' feet and hands also lacked fur and the latter each had three fingers and an opposable thumb. Their feet had at least three toes with black toenails.[1]
History
- "The cruel ones came for greed but left unity behind. Word spread quickly. Soon, neighbors of all sorts gathered to meet, to share stories and to build the forest of the future—together."
- ―Wicket Wystri Warrick
Chirpa called Graak a Quork-bothering coward for fleeing.
After the defeat of the Galactic Empire at the Battle of Endor[1] in 4 ABY,[3] word spread across Endor that Imperials had returned to the moon but been seen off by members of the Bright Tree tribe of Ewoks and their Yuzzum neighbors, who had been summoned by the Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick. This led to many of the tribe's neighbors, including at least one Quork, gathering in Bright Tree Village to meet the Ewoks, share stories, and work in unity to build the forest's future together. During the gathering, the Quork stood with a plate in their hand beside a table of other visitors.[1]
During the New Republic Era, when the Ewok Graak fled after being revealed as a traitor to the Bright Tree tribe during the Ewok Civil War on Endor, Chief Chirpa called him a Quork-bothering coward.[2]
