A quad-helix prismatic crystal was a type of crystal. They were used in BT-P7 ion accelerators in conjunction with laser actuators to increase the range of ion bolts fired from ion blaster.[1]

Quad-helix prismatic crystals were mentioned in the canon continuity in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They were mentioned in the description of the BT-P7 ion accelerator upgrade item.[1] The crystals were first introduced in the Star Wars Legends in the 1987 The Star Wars Sourcebook for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.[2]
