- "Following the attack on Valo, the Unified Republic Task Force has tackled Nihil marauders on Aris, Port Haven, and Golrath. They're running scared."
- ―Jedi Master Stellan Gios
Port Haven was a shadowport[1] in the Whendyll system in the Cademimu sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[2] In the aftermath of the attack on Valo during the High Republic Era, Port Haven was one of the locations where the Unified Republic Task Force dealt with Nihil marauders.[4] The former pirate Queen Maz Kanata marked it on a map that she included in the book that would eventually become known as the Smuggler's Guide.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current canon, Port Haven was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace.[1] The location originates in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Platt's Starport Guide, a 1995 supplement written by Peter Schweighofer for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[5]

- ↑ A number of canon locations that originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity lack specific entries in the "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix, but in the Legends continuity were located in star systems that are listed in the appendix with a name different than that location, such as Vergesso Prime's location in the Lybeya system. Per Email from on July 31, 2025 — Used with permission, the appendix's author Jason Fry indicated that the canon locations should be considered to be located in the corresponding canon systems of the same name as the Legends system.
