A shadowport was a spaceport that hosted illegal operations and usually was absent from all official records.

History
During the Galactic Civil War, the one located on Darlyn Boda was a known haven for black-market traders.[1] Another shadowport, on Savareen, was in an old refinery.[2]
Hutt Space
Hutt Space housed many planets that were designated as shadowports. For example, Nar Haaska and Nar Shaddaa were both shadowports due to the many criminal activities on those planets sponsored by the Hutts.[3]
Hydian Way
The largest clusters of planets with no official logging or taxation were located on the Hydian Way, a large Hyperspace route in the northern part of the galaxy. The most important ports for smugglers and criminals were Ord Mantell, Borgo Prime, and Port Haven.[3]
