The Peg Shar system was a star system in the Halla sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It fell within grid square R-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained Peg Shar I, an industrial world that was represented by a senator in the Galactic Senate of the Galactic Republic[3] by 32 BBY.[4]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Peg Shar system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[5] The Peg Shar system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[6]
