Official description

With the galaxy's fate on the line, Sig and his friends battle Darth Devastator one last time.

Plot summary

Destruction and creation

A fleet of Star Destroyers and a large white and orange starship called the Separator exit hyperspace above the now-desert world of Fennesa. At the viewport, Darth Devastator gathers his brother Sig Greebling and his Sith followers including Darth Rey, Rose Tico, Nubs and Jar Jar. Dev plans to use his flagship Separator to harness the power of The Cornerstone of the Galaxy. He plans to combine his Sith Breaking powers with Sig's Force Building powers to transform Fennesa.

He forces Sig to touch the Cornerstone, telling him to give into what he wants. The Separator unleashes a superlaser blast, which disintegrates Fennesa and reforms into a blue and green terrestrial world. When Sig asks what he has done, Dev reassures him that he has restored Fennesa to what it once was and invites him down to see what they have created. Dev hopes that will make Sig forget his old friends. As they walk down the hallway, Rey scowls with rage and jealousy.

Prison break

At the Dagobah prison, Yesi Scala finds herself a prisoner alongside Greedo, Mon Mothma, Yoda, Grievous and Mace Windu. They are forced to march under the watchful eyes of the Ackbar Troopers. Scala eyes the parked Dark Falcon. Meanwhile, Han Solo argues with a Ackbar Trooper about getting paid for his work by Darth Dev. Yoda pretends to collapse while Mothma calls the guards for help. When the guards attend to Yoda, he knocks them out and uses the Force to knock out several guards. The rebel and Jedi prisoners stage an uprising and fight their guards. This allows Scala and Yoda to sneak through the door.

Solo and the Ackbar Troopers regain control of the prisoners. Solo tells Yoda that the Rebellion is dead. Yoda disagrees just as the hijacked Falcon blasts a hole through the prison walls and takes out the gun emplacement. Scala and Greedo force Solo and the surviving Troopers to surrender.

"Homecoming" and mutiny

Dev takes Sig on a ride in his shuttle to a town that resembled their old hometown. The town is surrounded by lush green fields with nerfs. Seeing a herding stick, Sig says it is exactly like home. Dev says it is now Sig's home and his gift to his brother. Sig is confused because Dev earlier wanted to kill him but now wants to be his "cool older brother." Dev says that he plans to use the Cornerstone to make him the most powerful being in the galaxy and write his name across his space and time. Dev asks if Sig could be his chronicler. Sig refuses, saying that Jedi Bob says that he should write his own story.

Dev says that Jedi Bob is gone and not so wise. He gives "Siggy" the last chance to submit. Sig struggles to accept that this is real. Sig calls the alpha nerf "Luggy", who answers to him. Sig realizes this memory is not real because Luggy never answered to him. Sig says this is a copy of a memory rather than the real Fennesa. Dev growls in rage and exasperation, which causes storm clouds and lightning to form in the skies. Sig plants the herding stick in the ground.

Shortly later, Rey and the other Sith apprentices arrive in two shuttles and ask if he is having any success in converting Sig to their cause. Dev says he is working on it. Rey says the Sith are growing impatient while Tico adds that the Sith want to conquer the galaxy. Rey accuses Dev of being overcome by sentiment. Sith Kit Fisto says they are tired of his insults and ignites his Sith lightsaber. Tico cannot understand why Dev is obsessed with a "nerf herder." Sig defends nerf herding as a noble profession. Dev laughs and says that he is almost proud of his Sith apprentices before engaging them in a lightsaber duel. Dev uses the dark side of the Force and his lightsaber skills to dominate his acolytes, hurling Nubs against a rock. Darth Tico and the Ithorian Sith pursue Sig.

Jedi and Rebels to the rescue

Aboard the sandcrawler starship, Princess Leia receives news that Darth Devastator has created a massive superweapon and taken it to Fennesa. Palpatine suggests that they flee to Dantooine but Leia implores them to aid the Rebellion. Jedi Vader says they cannot withstand his power. Luke Skywalker disagrees and backs up Leia, saying that he heard stories of the old galaxy from Sig and says that they should fight despite living in a changed galaxy. Vader and Jabba agree and Palpatine reluctantly agrees to help.

Back on Fennesa, Tico and the Ithorian Sith corner Sig at the edge of a cliff. However, Jedi Bob arrives in his Force Builder starfighter and drives the Sith apprentices away. Bob Force builds a ship for Sig and the two fly away. While Tico scowls with rage, Dev hurls Fisto against a shuttle, knocking off its wall. He then fights Rey, telling her that she was nobody when he found her and is still nobody. Before he can strike her down, Dev sees Bob and Sig flying away in their starfighters. Dev regrets not killing Bob and vows to finish the job.

The two Force Builders fly their starfighters around the Imperial Calamari Destroyers but are pursued by a swarm of X-fighters. A fleet of Jedi and rebel starships including TIE-wings exit hyperspace. Princess Leia orders the TIE-wings to engage the target. Bob tells the Jedi and rebel fleet that they need to clear a path to get to Dev's command ship. Palpatine agrees to commit his Jedi. Jedi Dooku and Cad Bane take out several enemy X-fighters. A rebel cruiser opens fire on a Calamari Destroyer. Sig gets distracted by the dogfight until Bob reminds him of their mission.

Several rebel TIE-wings escort the two Force Builder starfighters. The Imperial X-fighters inflict heavy casualties on the TIE-wings. Bob and Sig are alone. However, C-3PO comes to the rescue in his Naboo Royal Starship and takes out several X-fighters. Leia is surprised that C-3PO is helping the Rebellion. The bounty hunter droid reveals that someone paid him a lot of money and that he has also brough several Ewok bounty hunters flying starfighters. The Ewoks and C-3PO take out the shield generators on several Calamari Destroyers. Skywalker reveals that he hired the bounty hunters to assist with the battle.

Confronting Darth Devastator

Bob and Sig land their starfighters inside the hangar of the Separator, destroying several parked X-fighters and scattering the Ackbar Troopers. Bob reminds Sig of their mission to retrieve the Cornerstone. However, Sig confronts Bob about his deception and seeks answers. Bob apologizes to Sig for lying to him. He says that they needed to lock the Cornerstone into place and he did not want to break his heart. Sig says that Bob should have told him the truth but he has made peace with the fact that he cannot go back to his old life. He decides that they should rebuild new lives in this galaxy as Force Builders.

Together, the two Force Builders enter the ship's bridge where the Cornerstone rests on a platform. They are confronted by a furious Darth Devastator, who thinks that Sig has spurned his generosity. He levitates Master Bob in mid-air. Sig tries to reason with Dev, believing that there is still good in his lost Sith brother. Dev disagrees and regards Sig as weak and sentimental. Sig says that he struggled with loneliness in the past and that he can understand Dev's loneliness. Dev denies that he is lonely and unleashes Force lightning in a fit of rage. Sig says that Dev was so lonely that he decided that something was wrong with the galaxy and that it needed breaking.

Sig touches Dev's hand but Dev backs away. Dev says that it was not fair because in Sig's galaxy, they were happy. Dev says that he hasn't known a moment of happiness in his entire life. He vows to break this galaxy because it broke him first. Sig says that it doesn't have to be this way and urges him to leave the Cornerstone and go away together. Sig believes that part of his brother is still inside Dev and believes that there is still hope. Dev says that it is too late for him and vows to destroy the Rebellion, the Jedi and Fennesa once and for all.

Light triumphs

After driving Sig and Bob away with Force lightning, Dev unleashes the Cornerstone-powered superlaser, which disintegrates several rebel ships including C-3PO's starship. Palpatine and the Jedi use their Force powers in an attempt to hold their sandcrawler ship together. IG-88's starship and an Ewok starfighter are disintegrated. Dev announces that the Age of Devastation has begun. Meanwhile, Bob tells Sig to hold off Dev while he takes the Cornerstone. He gives Sig his lightsaber as a parting gift.

When Sig approaches him, Dev dismisses his threat since Sig is inexperienced with lightsaber combat. Dev unleashes a volley of Force lightning which Sig deflects with Bob's lightsaber Dev charges with his Sith lightsaber. Meanwhile, the sandcrawler begins disintegrating much to the dismay of its passengers. Yesi Scala arrives with the Dark Falcon and takes out the Separator's superlaser. Scala is joined by Greedo. Scala vows to keep the ship if she wins the battle. The two resume their attack on the Separator.

While Sig fights Dev, Jedi Bob races to the Cornerstone. Dev and Sig's duel is interrupted by an explosion. However, an energy shield forms along the window. Sig forms a wall of bricks but Dev uses his "Sith breaking" powers to shatter it. Sig continues to build platforms which Dev attacks with Force lightning. Bob struggles to free the Cornerstone. Dev says nothing makes sense but Sig talks about rebuilding. Bob is hurt by falling debris and implores Sig to free it since he is bonded to it. Sig frees the Cornerstone but is caught in a tug of war with his vengeful brother Dev. Dev attacks Sig with Force lightning but Sig deflects it with a herding stick. A stray blast causes the platform to explode.

Returning the Cornerstone

Sig retrieves the Cornerstone and tends to Bob. Before they can leave, a lightsaber-wielding Dev catches up with Sig. Dev is enraged but is unable to kill his brother. As the platform that Dev is standing on rises, Dev says that Sig is more use to him alive and warns this is not the end. Sig and Bob escape through the viewport and Force Build starfighters. They fly away as the Separator breaks in half. Dev retreats in a starfighter while the Imperial fleet jumps into hyperspace. Leia says that the Empire is in retreat while Luke says that he is getting used to "saving the galaxy."

Sig and Bob travel on the Dark Falcon to the Force Builder temple on Dagobah. There, Sig restores the Cornerstone to its spot. This triggers the rejuvenation of the temple. Bob praises Sig's heroism but apologizes that he will never see his galaxy again. Before leaving the temple, Bob uses his Force building powers to rebuild Servo. Servo is jubilant at his resurrection and embraces his master. After exiting the temple, Sig uses his Force powers to bury the temple back into the ground. Bob says that the Temple will now be hidden forever.

New adventures and threats

Returning to the Falcon, Sig begins compiling his stories of his past life including Dev. With the Sith defeated and the Rebellion in the ascendancy, Bob invites Sig to travel with him to Alistan Nor to continue his training as a Force Builder. Scala suggests a dangerous but fun short-cut. Sig and Scala hold hands and decide to explore the rebuilt galaxy. Servo cheers that they are going on a new adventure. The four gather in the cockpit as Bob punches the accelerator. They fly away.

Elsewhere, Darth Rey and Darth Rose Tico hire a bounty hunter known as the Landolorian to hunt down Sig Greebling. The two are no longer with Dev. The Landolorian is joined by a sinister looking Grogu, who is riding his cradle.
