«What's this?! Land walkers daring to cross our sacred spawning grounds?! My Queen Serpent is no fan of intruders… but her children will enjoy the chum!»
―Orcon[1]

King Orcon was a member of a sentient aquatic species on the forest moon of Endor who attacked a makeshift vessel carrying the Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick and an assortment of bounty hunters and Imperials across the Endless Lake. He was riding a devil serpent when he commenced the attack, and he loudly proclaimed that he did not wish for surface dwellers to travel across the lake. After shattering their vessel, Orcon left the group at the mercy of the creatures which dwelled within the lake.[1]

Biography

Lake lord

"Endless Lake. Once… a great village stood here—stood proud for countless Sky Dances of the Sunstar. Then Orcon, king of the Underwater Kingdom… he attacked. He sunk the great village. This lake… this is Orcon's Lake now… it is very dangerous to cross."
―Wicket Wystri Warrick[1]

Orcon attacked Endless Lake Village and sunk it.

Orcon was the king of the Underwater Kingdom on the moon Endor. He attacked Endless Lake Village, which had long stood proud, and sunk it into the body of water known as Endless Lake. The submerged ruins of the village, known to the Ewok species as the Desolation of Orcon, became a sacred spawning ground for the kingdom's devil serpents, with ravenous young snakes feeding in the lake and making it dangerous to cross.[1]

Shortly after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY,[2] Orcon was present in the Endless Lake with the Queen Serpent that spawned the young devil serpents when a group of Imperials and the hostage Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick tried to cross the water in a make-shift boat. Warrick had warned the Imperials of the dangers of crossing the lake but was ignored, leading to infant devil snakes pulling the Imperial scout trooper Khu Fornot overboard.[1]

Irritating intruders

"ROOOAAARRAAAAAAAAGH!"
"Steady, my friend— steady!"

The bounty hunters 4-LOM and Zuckuss then dispatched a number of the serpents with their blasters before a brief silence fell across the water that Warrick interpreted to mean Orcon was coming. As predicted, the king burst from the surface on the back of the Queen Serpent, shattering the boat and throwing the intruders into the lake. As the Imperials then killed infant devil serpents in the water, the queen roared and reared up, forcing Orcon to try and calm her.

The Imperial scavenger Koll Orvenk then attacked the Queen Serpent's tail below the surface, angering Orcon and convincing him to retreat back to his kingdom with the queen, leaving the infant devil serpents to eat the Imperials. As they left, Orcon had his serpent steed slam Orvenk with her tail, but the intruders managed to all escape from the lake alive.[1]

Personality and traits

«An attack from below?! Those insufferable barbarians! Their craft is shattered—leave them to your children and their hungry maws! Our kingdom awaits! Let us be free of this land-walking trashbut let us be sure they remember us!»
―Orcon speaks to his Queen Serpent[1]

Orcon was an alien male with green skin and black eyes. He considered the terrestrial beings that crossed the Endless Lake as intruders, calling them insufferable land-walking trash and attempting to feed them to young devil snakes. Orcon spoke in a language other than Galactic Basic.[1]

Equipment

When fighting the Imperials, Orcon wore no clothing but carried a red-staffed trident.[1]
