Ojom was a frozen planet[2] located in the Ojom system in the the galaxy's Deep Core[1] that was the homeworld of the Besalisk species.[3] A frigid world, the native Besalisks lived in communities atop floating glaciers, and the planet rarely received visitors, which made the discovery of the Force-sensitive Pong Krell by the Jedi Order an exceptional occurrence.[2]
Behind the scenes
Ojom was first mentioned in "Galactic Power Brokers," a Star Wars Legends article written by J.D. Wiker and published in the tenth issue of Star Wars Gamer in 2002. It was confirmed to be canon by the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.
